A championship match has been added to the debut show of Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks in WWE) AEW Big Business.
The opening segment of tonight’s AEW Dynamite was a face-to-face between Samoa Joe and Swerve Strickland that was interrupted by the Undisputed Kingdom, setting up a tag match.
However, looming in the conversation was the fact that Wardlow had won the All Star 8-man scramble match at Revolution which entitles him to a future title shot.
Wardlow would re-appear after his faction’s loss to stare down Samoa Joe which ended up costing Swerve.
Swerve picked up the victory for his team but in the end, got choked out by Samoa Joe as Wardlow watched on.
It was confirmed in this segment that next week on Dynamite, Samoa Joe will defend his AEW World Championship against Wardlow.
Next week’s March 13 edition of AEW Dynamite dubbed Big Business is expected to be set to feature the debut of Mercedes Mone in her hometown of Boston.
