WWE star and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has confirmed his ruptured bicep injury on social media.
As previously mentioned, PWInsider reported that former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has suffered an injury and is expected to undergo surgery on his arm.
It was unknown at the time of the report if the former TNA star would have to miss any time from television due to surgery.
On March 20, Nick Aldis took to social media to confirm his ruptured bicep injury. He wrote:
Yes, I just got out of surgery for a ruptured bicep tendon, and yes, the sheets had it within minutes. God bless ’em. Must be a slow news day…anyway it was a freak accident, I’m on the mend, and I will continue to fulfill my obligations. #SmackDown
Aldis confirmed that it was a freak accident and he will not miss any time from WWE programming in his role as SmackDown GM moving forward.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on Nick Aldis’ injury when they become available.
