WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has told a platinum selling musical artist to ‘clear their schedule’ for WrestleMania 40.
The Grandest Stage of Them All is no stranger to mainstream crossover from actors and musicians to influencers and athletes, and it appears like this year’s event will be no different.
Platinum selling rapper Meek Mill recently took to Instagram to ask WWE if he and his sons could attend the event in his hometown of Philadelphia, PA.
And now it appears as if he’s got his wish, courtesy of The Game himself.
Posting to his own Instagram story, Triple H issued a response to Meek, instructing him to “clear his schedule” to make room for the appearance.
Triple H wrote:
I got you @meekmill.
It’s your city and @WWE is just coming to have some fun.
Clear your schedule…
#WrestleMania
At last year’s event we got a musical performance from Lil Uzi Vert, who performed ‘Just Wanna Rock’ prior to The Uso’s entrance for their main event match with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.
It remains to be seen whether Meek will be simply attending WrestleMania as a fan, or whether Triple H can organise a performance of some kind in front of his home city.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates as/when they become available.
