The viewership figure and demo rating for Monday’s (March 25) edition of WWE Raw on USA Network featuring CM Punk has been revealed.
Per Wrestlenomics, Raw drew an overall average of 1.729 million viewers. This is up from the March 18 edition a week prior that drew 1.687 million viewers.
In the 18-49 demographic, Monday’s show scored 0.57 rating. This is also up from the week prior that scored 0.55 rating.
The demo rating allowed Raw to finish #2 in the 18-49 demographic for the night behind the coverage of the NCAA women’s basketball game between West Virginia and Iowa.
The show featured The Rock making a surprise appearance to confront Cody Rhodes and later delivered a bloody beatdown to Rhodes to close the show.
Also, CM Punk made his return to WWE programming in a promo segment with Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics noted that Punk’s segment was the highest quarter hour rating of Monday’s broadcast, averaging 2.20 million viewers and 0.71 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The high quarter-hour for WWE Raw last night by far was 9:00-9:15pm with the CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins in-ring segment, averaging 2.20 million viewers and a 0.71 P18-49 rating. It benefited from no ad breaks though so did the opening quarter.
