Karrion Kross/Killer Kross has commented on his surprise return to GCW, which marked his first wrestling show appearance following his WWE exit.
With Kross and Scarlett leaving WWE in August following their contracts expiring, the duo announced a number of dates for their post-WWE “Killer Smokeshow” tour.
Karrion Kross and Scarlett’s first post-WWE wrestling show turned out to be GCW Homecoming on August 23, with the duo revealing themselves to be ‘druids’ in an unannounced appearance.
Speaking with Nick Teodoro, Karrion Kross addressed his appearance, noting that he enjoys GCW because he can get “very unhinged” with the promotion.
He explained:
“We just did GCW by surprise. I always like doing GCW because you can get very unhinged there. It’s the crowd that likes it to be as absolutely wild and crazy as possible.
“Even getting so crazy and violent that it’s almost silly. I think that’s fun. There are different genres of pro wrestling. I always thought of pro wrestling as a variety act.
“If it’s the same thing every match and every show, there is nothing special about it.”
WWE star Drew McIntyre has now commented on the departures of Karrion Kross and Scarlett, which you can read more about right here.
