3. John Cena vs. The Rock (WrestleMania 28 & 29)
The final match in our trilogy of rematches is, factually, the highest drawing match in the history of WrestleMania.
Ten years after generations collided back at WrestleMania 18 (this is what we call foreshadowing), The Rock came back, this time as the leader of the old generation, for a dream match with John Cena.
Now a full-time Hollywood megastar, The Rock eclipses professional wrestling, and his first match with Cena finally knocked Mr. Yuge off the top of the buy rates chart.
The Twice in a Lifetime rematch, while it soured a lot of fans on the encounter, also drew huge numbers, but not to the same level as the first encounter did.
