10 Matches WWE Needs To Book For WrestleMania 36

3. Andrade (c) vs. Aleister Black – United States Championship

It seems like with Paul Heyman as the leader of Raw, 2020 could finally be the year that Andrade shows main roster audiences just how damn good he really is. The same can be said for Aleister Black.

Both men have picked up insane amounts of momentum since Paul Heyman drafted them to Raw, and Andrade looks set for a lengthy reign with the United States Championship.

I would have Andrade hold the belt until WrestleMania, when he is finally dethroned by a man he knows rather well, Aleister Black.

Two years ago at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, Aleister Black defeated Andrade to capture the NXT Championship. Two years later, he should defeat Andrade to capture the US title.

The match these two could put on if given time is truly mouth-watering. Also, if given a series like Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy, these two could trade wins and really help establish one another as true main eventers on Monday Night Raw.

2. The Fiend (c) vs. The Undertaker – Universal Championship

If you remember back to WrestleMania XXX, Bray Wyatt went one-on-one with multi-time World Champion John Cena. The match was supposed to be Wyatt’s breakout moment as he defeated an icon of the business. However, Cena defeated him.

If you remember back to WrestleMania 31, Bray Wyatt went one-on-one with The Undertaker. This match, like the year prior, was also supposed to be Wyatt’s breakout moment where he defeated an icon of the business. However, ‘Taker also defeated him.

If Wyatt is to continue his gimmick as The Fiend of avenging people that have wronged him in the past, then a WrestleMania feud with either The Undertaker or John Cena seems like a logical avenue for WWE to explore.

Cena’s Hollywood schedule likely means he won’t be around before WrestleMania, so a big-time feud leading up to a clash on the grandest stage of them for The Fiend and The Undertaker is something WWE needs to book.

This would be a big special attraction match with a lot of intrigue and mystery surrounding it. The Fiend should defeat The Undertaker in what would be The Deadman’s final wrestling match, really putting him over as the company’s biggest star.

The option for a Cena match could happen when Big Match John’s schedule permits it, but a match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania seems like something that needs to happen.

1. Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Keith Lee – WWE Championship

WWE showed over Survivor Series weekend that they see something in Keith Lee. The significance of the NXT star eliminating Seth Rollins and going toe-to-toe with Roman Reigns should not be overlooked.

Keith Lee is a ready-made star, and WWE could have the hottest babyface in years if they book Keith Lee in a huge WrestleMania match.

With Roman Reigns being reported as the favourite for the men’s Royal Rumble match, I would have him and Keith Lee as the final two men in the ring. With many people expecting Reigns to best Lee again, Lee could throw Roman over the top rope to receive a monster pop from his hometown crowd.

Lee could also eliminate Lesnar in the rumble match, setting up a huge feud between the two for the grandest stage of them all. Not only would the story be great, but so too would the match.

This is something that WWE, if they really want to make a top babyface this year, needs to explore.
