8=. Sheamus – 4 Eliminations
Sheamus, unlike Goldberg or Carlito, has appeared in more than one Chamber match, appearing in four. The first in 2010, when he defended his WWE Championship. In 2011 he fought to face The Miz at WrestleMania 27 for the WWE Championship, and in 2014, he tried to win back the WWE Championship. His last chamber appearance came in 2015, when he fought for the Intercontinental Championship, the only title in WWE that has evaded him in his career thus far.
Sheamus has never won a Chamber match but has successfully obtained four eliminations. In his first match where he entered as champion, Sheamus eliminated Kofi Kingston, before being pinned by future rival Triple H.
In 2011, Sheamus eliminated R-Truth before finally being felled by John Morrison after an impressive dive from the top of the structure (yes, you know the one). Sheamus hoped for better luck in his next Elimination Chamber match. In 2014, despite lasting 26 minutes, Sheamus was actually the first man eliminated scoring no eliminations.
Sheamus was hoping for fourth time lucky in 2015, when he competed in the first Intercontinental Championship chamber, eliminating Mark Henry, and then Dolph Ziggler in quick succession. Sheamus was eliminated by Ryback, who went on to win the match.
Fans greeted Sheamus with the ‘you look stupid!’ chant when he returned in 2015, however, looking at his elimination records, you shouldn’t sleep on the first Irish born WWE Champion.
