After seven years, CM Punk finally made his return to professional wrestling. No longer would his last match be the terrible 2014 Royal Rumble, he could go out on his own terms now.

Well, he certainly did go out on his own terms, and they really weren’t the terms a lot of us wanted.

If this is truly it for Punk in AEW, the end of his run there will cast a huge shadow on his whole return run, which is a very big shame.
