AEW
With AEW Full Gear 2025 fast approaching, there should be plenty of titles that will be up for grabs in the weeks heading in, and at the event itself as well.
Along with the AEW Women’s Tag Team Title tournament, there could be some exciting times with new champions being crowned soon.
Quite a few names on the current roster could do with a title win that could totally change the fortune of their in-ring careers.
Here are six potential new AEW champions.
6. Mercedes Mone Defeats Kris Statlander To Win The AEW Women’s World Championship

At AEW Full Gear 2025, TBS Champion Mercedes Mone will challenge Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s Championship.
This bout will mark these two women’s third meeting in All Elite Wrestling and should be the most heated.
After Mone scored two wins over Statlander in 2024, the current AEW Women’s World Champion should come in very motivated to change her fortune against ‘The CEO.’
Based on this history, it feels like Mone has to be considered the favorite to walk out of Full Gear 2025 as the new champion, adding a 13th title to her collection.
