The AEW Owen Hart Foundation Tournament has become one of the premier tournaments of the entire year in wrestling.

The single-elimination tournament determines who will challenge for the AEW World Championship and Women’s World Championship at All In: London.

With the high stakes and big prize on the line, it should be extremely interesting to see who will be the victor of this year’s tournaments, going on to get their shot at the top prizes in the company at Wembley Stadium.

Here are eight potential AEW Owen Hart Foundation Tournament winners for the 2026 edition of the tournament.

8. Mercedes Mone

Back at AEW Double Or Nothing 2025, Mercedes Mone defeated Jamie Hayter to win the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament.

This led to ‘The CEO’ challenging Timeless Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In: Texas 2025.

Despite a hard fought battle, Mone was unable to capture the gold against Storm. Then, Mercedes came up short yet again in her pursuit for the title against Kris Statlander at AEW Full Gear 2025.

After several months away and losing her collection of gold all over the world, Mone will look to return and win the Owen Hart Cup once again to challenge for the AEW Women’s World Title one more time at this year’s All In at Wembley Stadium.

7. Andrade El Idolo

Since returning to All Elite Wrestling at the start of 2026, Andrade El Idolo has put himself in the discussion as one of the best wrestlers in the world today.

In just a few short months, El Idolo has picked up key wins over the likes of Kenny Omega, Bandido and Swerve Strickland.

With these victories, it seems clear that Andrade wants to get his hands on the AEW World Title.

This should make Andrade a favorite to be in contention for the Owen Hart Foundation men’s tournament this year.

6. Megan Bayne

Megan Bayne has left a path of destruction in her wake ever since signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2025.

Bayne recently teamed with Lena Kross to form Divine Dominion to defeat Babes of Wrath to win the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship at Revolution 2026.

While she is now one half of the tag champions, it feels inevitable that Bayne will pursue more gold in AEW.

If she chooses to enter this year’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament, Bayne has to be viewed as someone who can dominate the competition and win to punch her ticket for AEW All In: London 2026.

5. Kenny Omega

At AEW Dynasty 2026, MJF defeated Kenny Omega to retain the AEW World Championship.

After this heartbreaking loss, it might take some work for ‘The Cleaner’ to earn another shot at the top prize in All Elite Wrestling.

Considering Omega stated his goal for this final run of his career is to once again become AEW World Champion, it feels like Omega might have to enter in the Owen Hart Foundation men’s tournament.

Omega winning the Owen Hart Cup might lead to his final shot at the gold at the biggest show of the year at AEW All In: London 2026 on August 30.

4. Harley Cameron

After losing the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship alongside Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron has been in a state of loss and depression.

Feeling alone after Nightingale went to focus on her reign as TBS Champion, Cameron now must pull herself up to become a singles performer.

Cameron is someone who has been one of the most improved performers in the AEW women’s division right now.

While she has been unable to find her way after losing the gold, it feels like AEW has the opportunity to give Harley an interesting story where she realizes how good she has become by winning the Owen Hart Foundation women’s tournament.

3. Swerve Strickland

Following his return to All Elite Wrestling at Full Gear 2025, Swerve Strickland has been focused on regaining the AEW World Title.

While he has been unable to get his one-on-one opportunity at the AEW World Championship, Strickland feels like someone who will one day become a two-time champion.

Now that he has once again become a top heel in AEW, it just might be an ideal time for Strickland to reinsert himself into the main event picture in a major way.

Swerve winning the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament feels inevitable to put him back in the main event at Wembley Stadium where he lost the AEW World Title in the first place back in 2024.

2. Willow Nightingale

Back in 2023, Willow Nightingale got her first big win when she defeated Athena to win the Owen Hart Foundation women’s tournament.

Looking to go back-to-back, Nightingale came up just short the year following in 2024, losing to Mariah May in the tournament finals.

Now three years since her first significant victory in AEW, it might be the time for Willow to return to the Owen Hart Cup field.

As the reigning TBS Champion, Willow feels like someone who has what it takes to overcome the competition and become the first ever two-time winner of the Owen Hart Foundation women’s tournament.

1. Will Ospreay

For many fans, it feels like the inevitable that Will Ospreay will win this year’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament to headline AEW All In: London 2026.

Back at AEW Double Or Nothing 2025, Ospreay was unable to punch his ticket for the main event of All In: Texas 2025 when he lost to ‘Hangman’ Adam Page in the Owen Hart Foundation men’s tournament finals.

Now one year on, Ospreay has recently returned from double fusion neck surgery and is looking to recapture the momentum he had in 2025.

While he is busy looking for revenge on Jon Moxley and The Death Riders, Ospreay may be able to get his vengeance in the months to come and then change his focus to finally win the Owen Hart Foundation men’s tournament this year.
