Bully Ray has predicted a future for Kendal Grey that sees her as a “main event player” in WWE, comparing her to Charlotte Flair.
Signed to WWE through the Next In Line program since January 2023, Kendal Grey has gone on to be a fixture in NXT and Evolve.
The future of Kendal Grey was a topic of conversation on a recent episode of Busted Open After Dark, with Bully Ray comparing the star to Charlotte Flair, saying:
“You want to talk about somebody who’s going to be a main event player, performer, wrestler for the WWE, it’s Kendal Grey.
“In the ring, as a wrestler, Kendal Grey has as much talent and ability as Charlotte Flair. Charlotte, as you know, to me, is top of the food chain when it comes to in-ring credibility of a pro-wrestler. Charlotte is the woman, but I’ll be damned if Kendal Grey doesn’t have everything that it takes to become a future star in the women’s division.
“She seemed very comfortable in front of the camera tonight, and we obviously know how comfortable she is in the middle of the ring. Kendal is definitely a talent to keep your eye on.”

A former WWE Evolve Women’s Champion, Grey would relinquish the title when she officially joined NXT earlier this year.
Time For A New Queen In WWE
From her NXT debut in 2013 to her current run alongside Alexa Bliss that will see the pair head to WrestleMania 42, Charlotte Flair has been “The Queen”.
The daughter of her legendary father, Ric Flair, the highly decorated women’s champion has proven that she deserves her spot in WWE multiple times in her career.
The build to her match at WrestleMania 41 may have been “a little tense”, but Flair has described this year as “more fun“, with the star and Alexa Bliss challenging WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend) in a Fatal Four-Way match that also features The Bella Twins, and Bayley & Lyra Valkyria.
A win in the WrestleMania 42 match would see Flair claim her third WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, with her career having seen a rain of gold at the Grand Slam level.
Just forty years of age, Flair seems to be in no rush to hand over her status as The Queen, describing the new decade in her life as “new territory.”
