4. A Credible Women’s Division
Outside of the very top stars, WWE has struggled to book women in any kind of credible way.
Bayley, IYO SKY and Dakota Kai have come in and it looks like that’s changed.
In terms of heels, outside of Becky Lynch on Raw the past few months, you’ve only really got Rhea Ripley, and her being injured meant they had to go with Carmella as a challenger to Bianca Belair at Money in the Bank, so that just proves the lack of depth.
Not because Carmella’s bad, but because they haven’t booked her in any kind of credible way for literally years.
Triple H did a fantastic job with women in NXT, and it seems like things will be no different for the main roster. See Shotzi getting a clean win over Aliyah on SmackDown last week as another example.
Hopefully the no contest finishes don’t happen quite as often as they did on this show going forward, but it had to be done here to cement Bayley, Kai and SKY as chaotic heels.
