Following AEW All In London 2026,.Will Ospreay is now the new AEW World Champion.
On the September 2 episode of AEW Dynamite, Ospreay announced that he planned to bring his own version of his United Empire faction from New Japan Pro Wrestling to All Elite Wrestling.
After claiming he will recruit some names to join him and create new opportunities, it should be interesting how Ospreay plans to build this new Empire.
Here are seven AEW stars to potentially join Will Ospreay’s United Empire faction.
7. Andrade El Idolo
In January, Andrade El Idolo made his return to New Japan Pro Wrestling and immediately joined forces with United Empire.
This led to El Idolo also making his comeback to All Elite Wrestling where he has become one of the top stars on the roster today.
At AEW All In London 2026, Andrade won the Men’s Casino Gauntlet to earn a guaranteed shot at the AEW World Title.
Despite this fact, it makes sense if Ospreay aligns with Andrade based on their United Empire ties.
6. Komander
Looking at the AEW roster, there are several names who have stepped up and improved.
Among those names, Komander has been on a roll with some exciting performances since returning this past summer.
At 27 years old, the masked luchador has a bright future and could achieve greater heights in AEW.
Will Ospreay recruiting Komander would give him more opportunities and have a bigger spotlight within the United Empire.
5. Top Flight (Darius & Dante Martin)
Since signing with All Elite Wrestling in 2020, Top Flight have always felt like they are close to their big break.
Darius and Dante Martin have been among the young talent who has lacked opportunities over the years.
Will Ospreay is someone who had a similar style to that of Top Flight and could see himself in the duo.
Bringing in the Martin brothers would be wise for Ospreay to give United Empire an established tag team to their ranks.
4. Kris Statlander
Will Ospreay has been in full support of women’s wrestling for years and shows that consistently with his backstage role in the independent promotion, Pro Wrestling: EVE.
Many female stars in AEW have made appearances for EVE, but none has had as major of a role as Kris Statlander.
After ending her International Title run in the company, Statlander recently defeated Session Moth Martina to become the EVE Champion.
Now that she is the face of that promotion, Statlander would be an excellent fit for Will Ospreay’s United Empire in AEW and could find herself right back at the top in the women’s division again.
3. Michael Oku
Looking outside of All Elite Wrestling, there might not be another wrestler closer to Will Ospreay than Michael Oku.
When Ospreay signed with AEW, his final match on the British independent scene was an epic with Oku.
Then during his memorable entrance at AEW All In London 2026, Oku was standing backstage, giving Ospreay a nod before his AEW World Title match against Kenny Omega.
Ospreay opening the door for Oku to sign with AEW and join United Empire would be a full circle moment and see him bring their friendship to the company’s programming.

No one on the AEW roster has embraced the independent scene quite like Skye Blue as of late.

While she is currently a member of Triangle of Madness, Skye has the chance to stand out on her own.
Joining forces with Will Ospreay in United Empire could be the best way for Skye Blue to potentially break out as a top singles star in the AEW women’s division.
1. The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter)
It is no secret that Will Ospreay got married earlier this year to fellow AEW star Alex Windsor.
2026 has been one of the best years of Windsor’s career with the British star winning the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship and recently teaming with Jamie Hayter to defeat Divine Dominion to win the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Titles.
Now that the married couple hold gold, it might be time to make their union officially on AEW TV.
Will Ospreay bringing The Brawling Birds into United Empire would give himself a solid foundation for his new stable moving forward.
