Best Body Transformations Of 2020

7. Evil Uno

In some cases, it’s really easy to see when a wrestler loses a lot of weight or gains a lot of muscle, because they don’t tend to wear shirts a lot of the time.

That being said, it’s important to recognise those who do wear shirts, and those who have lost a lot of weight while wearing the aforementioned shirts.

When he joined AEW, I think it’s fair to say that the Dark Order’s Evil Uno wasn’t in the best physical shape, and while he could still go in the ring like someone half his size, it seems he wanted to make changes.

Uno has for some time now been wrestling in a leather sleeveless top, which while it covers his upper body, doesn’t disguise the fact that he has lost a considerable amount of weight. While his ring gear is pretty cool, it would be awesome to see the transformation he has made in the past 12 months.

6. Peyton Royce

While many names on this list have gotten into better shape in terms of being a wrestler, Peyton Royce took it upon herself in 2020 to prove that she can do more than just the graps.

On August 15, Royce took part in her first ever bodybuilding competition, and she detailed the day’s events on her Instagram, showing off the two trophies she won on the day.

Bodybuilding is incredibly tough to prepare for physically, and you can see just from the definition of her muscles just how much work Peyton had to put in to make sure she was in the best shape possible for her show.

While the fake tan and bodybuilder shape isn’t for everyone, there’s no doubt that Peyton made an incredible transformation for the show.

5. Bayley

Remember the thing I wrote about Cody? Well you can pretty much apply that to former SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley, who clearly decided lockdown was the perfect time to transition from the hugger to the protein chugger.

Bayley often uses her social media channels to show off her various workouts, where she lifts things that weigh more than your mum, ooo burn.

One of the problems some people had with Bayley when she came to the roster was that her happy, sweet, hugging gimmick just didn’t fit on the main roster, and that as she was surrounded by the likes of Charlotte Flair, she wasn’t the most impressive physical specimen on the roster.

Fast forward to 2020 however, and Bayley is in incredible shape, and has cemented herself as one of the most physically dominant women in the whole of WWE.

4. Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle was in good shape when he was retired by Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35, but because of the nature of the loss, it made us forget just why he was able to become so dominant in the land of giants that is WWE in the first place.

Thankfully, Kurt decided to remind us a few weeks ago that he is still one of the hardest mutha effers in the business, posting a picture of himself on his social media pages looking like the world’s muscliest big toe.

Just a quick reminder to everyone that Kurt is 51 years old, which means that any 50 year olds out there who don’t look like Kurt Angle, you’ve got a year to get into his shape, or you must not be trying hard enough.

Judging by that photo alone, Kurt appears to be in some of the best shape of his life, which is pretty incredible given his past struggles. Great job, Mr Angle.
