In April, Chris Jericho re-signed with All Elite Wrestling in what many fans believe will be his final run in wrestling.

At 56 years old, Jericho has pretty much accomplished everything he can in the industry.

This may lead to Tony Khan looking at the roster and figuring out which AEW star will be Jericho’s last opponent.

Here are our four potential final AEW opponents for Chris Jericho.

Nick Wayne

Following AEW All In London 2026, Chris Jericho kickstarted a feud with Nick Wayne.

On the September 16 edition of AEW Dynamite, Jericho picked up a win over Wayne. However, Wayne got the last laugh with a steel chair attack after the match.

At 21 years old, Wayne feels like one of the future stars who is on the rise in AEW.

Wayne could be the one who defeats and retires Jericho to give him a major accolade to brag about for years to come.

MJF

Back in 2020 and 2021, MJF aligned himself and then feuded with Chris Jericho.

In the years since, Maxwell Jacob Friedman has not interacted with Jericho much.

Rekindling their rivalry, MJF is the kind of star who would love to have the accomplishment of retiring Jericho.

MJF taking down Jericho in his final AEW match would be a fitting way to bring their rivalry to a conclusion once and for all.

Kyle Fletcher

Kyle Fletcher has been pegged as a future top star and AEW World Champion.

Having everything it takes to be in the main event picture, “The Protostar” is someone who could thrive against a star of the caliber of Chris Jericho.

Jericho is nearing the end of his career and could finish things off against the former AEW International Champion.

Fletcher ending Jericho’s in-ring career could be the thing that cements him as a made man in AEW moving forward.

Kenny Omega

Before All Elite Wrestling started, Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega were embroiled in a rivalry that changed the wrestling industry.

After clashing at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 14 in 2018, it led to Tony Khan coming up with the idea to create AEW.

This also led to Jericho and Omega clashing in the main event of AEW’s first show, Double Or Nothing 2019.

In a full circle moment for the company and Jericho, the legend could clash with his career rival in Omega in what could be his official retirement match.
