11. NXT Women’s Championship

Hmm. It’s not the worst but it is giving ‘someone had a bit of spare material left over from their White Power Ranger cosplay and decided to make a wrestling belt’ vibes.

The NXT Women’s Championship belt bears a strong resemblance to the men’s, but with a few subtle changes that diminish its overall appeal. The pale strap gives it a muted appearance, causing the holograms to blend in rather than pop against the belt’s overwhelmingly bright design.

Instead of taking the ‘copy my homework but don’t make it obvious’ approach to the NXT men’s and women’s championships, why can’t WWE come up with a unique belt for the women’s division? It doesn’t have to be something pink and swirly like the awful Divas Championship (Ugh) but it would be nice for the women to have something more feminine and representative of who they are, as opposed to a watered-down version of the men’s design.

With Becky Lynch recently being crowned NXT Women’s Champion, more eyes than ever are going to be on the division. It’s an opportunity for the women of NXT to step up and show what they’re capable of. It’s just too bad the belt doesn’t fairly represent them and what they can do.
