Taya Valkyrie and Kiera Hogan are going head to head again, in a rematch of their awful showing at Redemption.
It’s not every week that we get two Knockouts segments, let alone two pre-announced Knockouts segments – so at the very least we can take that as a step towards progress. I really hope they are a bit more tuned this week because they are both capable of putting on a great match. Unfortunately, the two just didn’t seem to gel in their last encounter, perhaps because they weren’t the focus of their own match – with the announcement that Tessa Blanchard was joining the roster coming alongside it.
I pray that this rematch doesn’t get the same treatment as the match at Redemption, being an excuse for Tessa to make her appearance. Valkyrie and Hogan are both better than that kind of wasted match potential.
