Following AEW All In London 2026, Omega is currently taking some time off after dropping the AEW World Title to Will Ospreay.

When he returns, fans could be seeing the final in-ring run of Omega’s legendary career.

Here are six potential Kenny Omega AEW retirement opponents.

Hangman Adam Page

When All Elite Wrestling first started, Kenny Omega and “Hangman” Adam Page came together as a tag team within The Elite.

Omega and Page went from AEW World Tag Team Champions to battling over the AEW World Title.

Since their last meeting at AEW Full Gear 2021, Omega and Page have not faced in a singles match.

If “The Cleaner” is ready to hang up his boots, Omega could step inside the ring with
“Hangman” one last time before he retires.

Jericho

Tony Khan has always credited the first Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho match from NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 12 as the genesis of his idea to create All Elite Wrestling.

This led to Omega and Jericho headlining the first ever AEW event, Double Or Nothing 2019.

On that night, Jericho avenged his loss to “The Cleaner” in their only match in the company and went on to become the inaugural AEW World Champion.

Omega and Jericho could make a full circle moment by being each other’s final opponents in AEW when they are ready to retire from the ring.

Kyle Fletcher

Back in 2023, Kenny Omega faced off with a young Kyle Fletcher.

Three years later, Fletcher is a much different performer, a former AEW International Champion and two-time TNT Champion.

There is no denying that Fletcher is one of the best in-ring workers in AEW today.

Speaking of the beginning of AEW, Jon Moxley made his debut at Double Or Nothing 2019 and immediately attacked Kenny Omega.

From there, Omega and Moxley have had one of the most enduring rivalries in the company’s history.

Omega took the AEW World Title from Moxley to start his first reign, while “The Ace” has beaten “The Cleaner” in a Lights Out and Steel Cage Match in their previous meetings.

Considering their lengthy history, Omega has the chance to close the book on his career and rivalry with Mox at the same time.

Kazuchika Okada

When fans are asked what is the defining opponent of Kenny Omega’s career, the answer usually is Kazuchika Okada.

In NJPW, Omega and Okada revolutionized the wrestling industry together.

Then at AEW All In: Texas 2025, Okada evened their record against one another at 2-2-1.

Wanting to settle the score, Omega could challenge Okada in his AEW retirement match to finish this iconic feud once and for all.
