‘Hangman’ Adam Page AEW All In 2026 Opponent

Back at AEW Revolution, MJF retained the AEW World Championship against ‘Hangman’ Adam Page in a Texas Death Match main event.

Following his loss, Hangman is now banned from challenging for the AEW World Championship ever again, unless he goes back on his word.

With Hangman returning on AEW Collision last night, he said he is going to have to find ‘something else’ to do now he can no longer chase the world title, which leads to a number of potential directions for All In London.

Here are some potential opponents at AEW All In London 2026 for ‘Hangman’ Adam Page.

MJF

Tensions between MJF and Adam Page got to the point where they faced off in a Texas Death match at Revolution, with things arguably still left unfinished between the two.

While Hangman is unable to challenge for the AEW World Championship, MJF will almost certainly want to regain his Triple B from Kenny Omega, either at AEW Redemption or on Dynamite beforehand.

Hangman spoke on Omega’s title win during his return promo, with him coming to the aid of Kenny over MJF during their eventual rematch making a lot of sense.

MJF and Hangman renewing their rivalries in time for AEW’s biggest show of the year would be a marquee singles match for the show.

Jon Moxley

Last year’s AEW All In main event saw Hangman become the saviour of AEW, defeating Jon Moxley and the Death Riders to free the AEW World Championship from the briefcase the Death Riders had locked it in.

In the year since, the status 0f the Death Riders is a lot more complicated, with the group helping Will Ospreay win the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament to earn the shot at All In.

Given Hangman’s history with the Death Riders and friendship with Kenny Omega, him getting involved in the storyline would make a lot of sense, and bring some more complexity to the storyline, given Hangman’s very detailed and complex character arc.

A rematch of last year’s main event, with Hangman again trying to ‘free’ the Continental Championship from Moxley, who is no longer seen as a great evil threat, would be a very shades of grey approach to both characters for the show.

Swerve Strickland

When it comes to the complexity of Hangman’s character in AEW, one man that can’t not be mentioned is Swerve Strickland.

For almost three years now, Hangman and Swerve have been linked in AEW, from Texas Death matches to Lights Out Steel Cage matches, to recently agreeing to team together to face the Death Riders and the Opps, there are still chapters left to tell with the two.

Coming out of Forbidden Door and his loss in the Owen Hart Tournament final, Swerve finds himself with no obvious direction, and once more a heel, he and Hangman could always rekindle their rivalry.

Hangman did say that he would have to find out who he is without the title, but for those paying attention to the long-term story of his character, it’s pretty obvious.

Kevin Knight

During his return promo, Hangman directly called out the TNT Championship and it’s champion Kevin Knight, which is a title he’s yet to capture in his AEW career.

Knight and Hangman themselves have some history together, with Hangman, Knight and Speedball Mike Bailey winning the AEW Trios Championship from the Opps back in January of this year.

Last time Hangman was coming off title runs with nothing to do, AEW took the chance to use Hangman to help elevate Swerve Strickland to main event status, with him going on to win the title months later.

Kevin Knight is one of the new rising stars in AEW, so the company could use Hangman once more to help elevate the Jet to that next level.

Sheamus

While Hangman returning to AEW on Collision made some sense given it took place in Virginia, it did feel like Tony Khan announcing it on social media the day before sort of came out of nowhere.

Last Sunday, it was confirmed that Sheamus would be departing WWE after almost 20 years with the company, a piece of news that came out of nowhere and as a shock to many.

With Hangman’s return being so sudden, could he have been brought back now to set up a feud with Sheamus after news of his WWE departure broke, setting up a series of matches between the two.

There aren’t many better first AEW opponents for Sheamus than Hangman, with a brutal trilogy of matches between the two, culminating at All In, being a really exciting prospect.

Tommaso Ciampa

Another former WWE star who has had a rather impressive run in AEW is Tommaso Ciampa.

Coming into the company back in January, Ciampa has already reigned as TNT Champion, as well as taking part in classic matches with the likes of Darby Allin on Dynamite.

Coming off a win over Chris Jericho, Ciampa could be set to climb the card in AEW, with Hangman a potential target for his next attack.

Ciampa and Hangman definitely have some incredible brawls or death matches in them should that be the direction Tony Khan chooses to go.

Entering Casino Gauntlet To Get Title Shot

A staple of AEW All In at this point is the Casino Gauntlet match, where up to 21 wrestlers fight for the chance at a future World Championship shot.

Yes, Hangman losing at Revolution means he is unable to challenge for the AEW World Championship again, but that is just provided Hangman wants to be a man of his word.

Him entering the Gauntlet to earn a title shot, with him holding onto it for months as he fights within himself whether he should or shouldn’t go back on his promise, before ultimately needing to do so for the betterment of AEW, would make for some compelling television.

There are a number of potential avenues at play should AEW go this route, including him either turning heel, or remaining babyface and becoming the target of other babyfaces and heels on the roster who now look down on him for choosing to break his promise.
