Predicting The Card For WWE AAA Noche De Los Grandes 2026 WWE

On May 30, WWE will present their latest major Lucha Libre AAA special event with Noche De Los Grandes 2026 from Monterrey, Mexico.

This special will have a lot to live up to after the success of the recent Rey de Reyes three-week event for the promotion.

With some momentum building for AAA at this time, Noche De Los Grandes should continue this wave of attention for the Mexican company moving forward.

Here are our potential predictions for the card for WWE AAA Noche De Los Grandes 2026.

El Grande Americano vs. The Original El Grande Americano – Mask vs. Mask Match

A battle between the El Grande Americanos is confirmed for Noche De Los Grandes

Over the past three months, El Grande Americano and The Original El Grande Americano have been embroiled in one of the most heated rivalries in all of wrestling today.

While they have done battle in WWE, things have truly hit a fever pitch in Lucha Libre AAA recently.

After The Original El Grande stole the Rey de Reyes sword and threatened the other El Grande’s real life girlfriend on the April 11 AAA on FOX, this battle for pride and identity has gotten even more intense with a truly visceral pullapart brawl that lasted for a while.

This now leads to a Mask vs. Mask Match between El Grande and The Original El Grande on May 30 in Monterrey at AAA Noche De Los Grandes.

AAA Tag Team Championship: Pagano & Psycho Clown (c) vs. The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar)

The War Raiders are former NXT, Raw and World Tag Team Champions

At the AAA Rey de Reyes Week 2 event, Pagano and Psycho Clown defended the AAA Tag Team Championship against The War Raiders.

However, this bout went to a no contest when the two teams started brawling with one another until the referee threw this match out.

Pagano and Psycho have been having their own problems as a duo, but they could have met their match from a physical and brawling aspect with Erik and Ivar.

A rematch for the AAA Tag Team Championships should be announced for the Noche De Los Grandes event in Monterrey.

El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Mini Vikingo

El Hijo Del Vikingo is a member of El Ojo alongside Dorian Roldan and Omos

At the AAA Rey de Reyes Week 1 event, Dominik Mysterio defeated El Hijo del Vikingo to retain the AAA Mega Championship thanks to interference from Mini Vikingo.

The rivalry between the two Vikingos really heated up after El Ojo attacked the young star and sent him to the hospital.

Making things even more personal, Vikingo attacked Mini Vikingo in his hospital room. However, Mini got some revenge on El Hijo by costing him the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Penta on the April 11 AAA on FOX.

Now, this should lead to El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Mini Vikingo in a heated grudge match on May 30.

AAA Latin American Championship: El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. (c) vs. La Parka

El Hijo De Dr Wagner Jr has featured multiple times in NXT since the WWE purchase of AAA

El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. has been feuding with Santos Escobar over the AAA Latin American Championship over the past few months.

However, Escobar went down with a serious torn triceps injury that should see him sidelined until the fall of 2026.

This should lead to a new challenger emerging like La Parka to challenge for the prestigious title.

Parka challenging Dr. Wagner III would be an evenly matched battle that could see a new champion being crowned at AAA Noche De Los Grandes.

AAA Cruiserweight Championship: Laredo Kid (c) vs. Rey Fenix

Rey Fenix has only had three matches on WWE SmackDown in 2026 as of April 15

At the AAA Rey de Reyes Week 3 event, Laredo Kid defeated TJ Perkins, Jack Cartwheel and Dragon Lee to retain the AAA Cruiserweight Championship.

After this victory, Laredo was confronted by Rey Fenix, who raised his hand, but then stared at the title he once held.

This sets up Fenix as the next contender to challenge for the AAA Cruiserweight Championship against someone he knows very well at Noche De Los Grandes..

Considering their past matches against one another and teaming with each other in the past, Fenix vs. Laredo for the AAA Cruiserweight Championship could make for a showstealing bout in Monterrey.

AAA Reina de Reinas Championship: Flammer (c) vs. La Catalina

La Catalina was previously signed to WWE NXT from 2019 to 2021

On the April 4 episode of AAA on FOX, Flammer defeated Sussy Love to retain the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship to set the record for the longest reign in the title’s history.

Then on the April 11 AAA on FOX, Flammer celebrated her record with a 974-day reign at that point, but this celebration was interrupted by the debuting La Catalina.

Coming to the promotion after a successful run in CMLL, Catalina arrived in Lucha Libre AAA with high expectations.

At just 25 years old, Catalina feels like the perfect challenger for Flammer come May 30 at AAA Noche De Los Grandes.

AAA Mega Championship: Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Mr. Iguana

Before Noche De Los Grandes, Dominik Mysterio faces ‘Demon’ Finn Balor at WrestleMania 42

Dominik Mysterio has reigned as AAA Mega Champion for over seven months now and faced some of the best that the Mexican promotion have had to offer.

After beating El Hijo del Vikingo at the Rey de Reyes Week 1 event, Mysterio looks to be without a top contender going into the May 30 AAA Noche De Los Grandes event.

Mr. Iguana has grown in popularity since WWE’s acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA to become one of the biggest stars on the roster today.

Now as one half of the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions with Lola Vice, Iguana could be the right person to challenge “Dirty Dom” for the top prize in Lucha Libre AAA at the upcoming event from Monterrey.
