As 2026 is coming to end, WWE is already looking ahead to their WrestleMania 43 premium live event from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
With various top stars in play or set to return, a new report has revealed that WWE is discussing who will face Rhea Ripley at “The Show of Shows.”
While she is out with a torn meniscus injury, Ripley is still among the biggest stars in WWE today and should be positioned in a major bout at Mania.
Here are four potential Rhea Ripley WWE WrestleMania 43 opponents.
Chelsea Green
Following Rhea Ripley’s torn meniscus injury, the company was forced to crown an Interim WWE Women’s Champion.
At SummerSlam 2026, Chelsea Green defeated Tiffany Stratton, Lash Legend, Jade Cargill and Charlotte Flair in a Ladder Match to win the Interim WWE Women’s Championship.
Since then, Green has sat atop of the SmackDown women’s scene as their champion.
If WWE wants to wait until the new year to bring Ripley back, it could set up a title unification match against Green at WrestleMania 43.
Blake Monroe
When vignettes started to air on SmackDown, Blake Monroe let the world know who she had her eyes on.
In one particular video, Monroe called out Ripley, mentioning the differences in their character and why she would make for a better WWE Women’s Champion.
With Ripley absent in recent months, Monroe has been looking to rise up the ranks.
By the time Rhea is back, it could be Monroe that would make for an ideal opponent for “The Nightmare” at WWE WrestleMania 43 next April.
Tiffany Stratton
At WWE Money In The Bank 2026, Tiffany Stratton defeated Lash Legend, Roxanne Perez, Jacy Jayne, Lola Vice and Sol Ruca to win the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match.
Now with the contract, it seems clear who Stratton will eventually cash in on.
Over recent months, Stratton has become friends with WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green, making it seem inevitable that Tiffy will eventually cash in similar to her last time with the Money In The Bank briefcase against someone she is close to.
If she wins the WWE Women’s Champion, the company could set up a showdown between Stratton and Rhea Ripley for WrestleMania 43 that feels fresh and different.
IYO SKY
For years, fans have been asking when Rhea Ripley could face her best friend IYO SKY at WrestleMania.
Over the past few years, IYO and Rhea have done battle with the result usually being the same.
Ripley has never been able to defeat SKY in singles competition with this long-term story coming up several times.
With potentially the WWE Women’s Championship on the line, there could be a ton of potential in Rhea and IYO clashing on “The Grandest Stage of Them All.”
