After tonight’s edition of WWE NXT (October 13), it seems that Shawn Michaels gave the green light for Danhausen to arrive on the brand.

In a story that kicked off at the end of WWE NXT and seemingly trickled over onto social media, Danhausen was announced as an official host for an upcoming event.

After Stone found a threatening note on his desk to close the October 13 edition of NXT demanding that Danhausen be appointed the host of Halloween Havoc, Shawn Michaels would later weigh in on social media.

Telling Mr. Stone to let Danhausen serve as the host of the upcoming NXT premium live event, HBK was seemingly highly motivated to not be cursed.

Sharing the official poster for the upcoming event featuring Danhausen in the center, it should be a spooky time indeed on Halloween.

Danhausen’s NXT debut

While Danhausen has made a seemingly immediate impact during his time on the main roster, he was one of the AEW recruits that skipped the Performance Center entirely.

With other AEW alumni like Ricky Saints, Blake Monroe or even Cruz Montana spending a time in NXT, others like Royce Keys, Jade Cargill and Danhausen all debuted promptly to the main roster.

However with Halloween Havoc being the idea introduction for Danhausen to the NXT audience, the potential for hijinks seems very high.

NXT Championship matches also confirmed

Elsewhere on tonight’s edition of NXT, two big championship bouts for the upcoming Halloween Havoc 2026 event were revealed.

After sneaking her way into a huge elimination match, it will be Wren Sinclair taking on NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan at the event on October 31.

After Tony D’Angelo was able to beat Myles Borne to become the number one contender for his former NXT World Championship, it was revealed that he would take on Grayson Waller at the PLE.

Also presumably set for the event could he the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Classic tag team tournament although the exact date of the finals has yet to be revealed with quarterfinals on-going.

Spooky shenanigans

With Danhausen already proving to bring an amazing case of characters along with him including his own Hausenmobile, Minihausens and of course, human teeth – it would seem that Danhausen could bring all kinds of chaos to NXT.

Serving as the host with the most, certainly Danhausen’s presentation of the night could range anywhere from being a remote observer, providing narration for the night’s events from his own secret lair.

Or perhaps more interestingly, seeing Danhausen interacting with a whole bunch of NXT stars as well as the crowd for the Halloween spectacular could be the exact amount of additional wild and wacky entertainment that Halloween Havoc requires.
