On the October 6 episode of WWE NXT, Wren Sinclair won the NXT Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s Battle Royal.

Sinclair did this while suspended by dressing as Lucha Libre AAA star Lady Shani.

Now that she is the number one contender, it should be interesting how the company prepares Sinclair to do battle with NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan.

Here are some potential Wren Sinclair WWE NXT future plans after becoming number one contender.

Robert Stone lifts her suspension

After a kendo stick attack on Kelani Jordan, NXT General Manager Robert Stone was forced to suspend Wren Sinclair.

Despite being suspended, Sinclair showed up at the NXT merchandise stand just a few weeks later before she was escorted away by security.

Now that she has fooled everyone as Lady Shani to win the number one contender’s battle royal, Stone will be forced to go back on his ruling.

Reinstating Wren Sinclair should be an immediate top priority for Stone after she earned her NXT Women’s Championship shot at Halloween Havor 2026.

Facing AAA’s Lady Shani

As previously mentioned, Wren Sinclair was able to enter the NXT Women’s Championship number one contender’s battle royal as AAA’s Lady Shani.

After using her mask and gear, Sinclair should give Shani a chance to become number one contender.

With weeks remaining before WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2026, there is still time for Sinclair to give Lady Shani an opportunity to get the NXT Women’s Championship shot.

Shani coming to NXT to face Wren would be interesting that plays off of the ending of the number contender’s battle royal.

Win the NXT Women’s Championship from Kelani Jordan

Thanks to her win in the battle royal, Wren Sinclair is now scheduled to challenge Kelani Jordan for the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc 2026.

With this potential battle set to take place on October 31, Sinclair has all the momentum to pick up the biggest win of her career.

Sinclair will be fighting for not only herself, but also her WrenQCC stablemate Kendal Grey.

Considering her technical skills and experience, Wren has everything she needs to get the job done against Jordan and become NXT Women’s Champion sooner rather than later.

Heel turn on Kendal Grey

In 2025, Kendal Grey made her debut on the WWE NXT brand and immediately joined forces with Wren Sinclair.

Becoming the WrenQCC, these two ladies became the best of friends and basically inseparable since then.

Grey has been out of action in recent weeks after losing the NXT Women’s Championship to Kelani Jordan at Heatwave 2026.

Grey coming back for her best friend’s big title bout could see Wren snapping after failing to win the title and turning heel on the former NXT Women’s Champion at Halloween Havoc.
