Several WWE stars are unable to compete following Money In The Bank this past weekend, including one of the briefcase holders.
On Saturday, WWE held it’s Money In The Bank premium live event in New Orleans, with the new Mr. and Miss Money In The Bank being crowned, as Penta and Tiffany Stratton won the titular matches.
Both the men’s and women’s matches featured a number of scary spots, and the tole it took on the participants has now been revealed.
Several WWE stars unable to compete following Money In The Bank
To kick off tonight’s WWE Raw show, Joe Tessitore and Corey Graves announced that a ‘number of competitors’ from this past weekend’s matches were unable to compete on tonight’s show.
Later in the night, it was confirmed that one of those names was actually the Women’s Money In The Bank winner, Tiffany Stratton, who didn’t accompany Chelsea Green to the ring for her segment with Liv Morgan.
Liv would comment in the segment that Tiffany wasn’t with Chelsea because she ‘injured herself’ during the Ladder match.
Je’von Evans also appeared on the show to sell the effects of the match after he was tossed through the roof of an ambulance by Bron Breakker.
Roxanne Perez is not among the names unable to compete, as she was in action on tonight’s show against WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green.
We will provide updates on the status of all the competitors as they become available, and wish all of them the best.
When will Tiffany Stratton cash in?
Provide Tiffany’s injury isn’t anything too serious and that she’s back in action soon, we will likely see her cash in her contract on Chelsea Green before the end of the year.
Previously, Tiffany has held the briefcase alongside her then-friend WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax, before Tiffany betrayed Nia to cash in the briefcase, turning babyface in the process.
This year, we could see a very similar story play out, only this time Tiffany would be cashing in on Chelsea Green instead, and the cash in would likely lead to or proceed a heel turn from Stratton.
After missing the card for WrestleMania 42, Tiffany could once again walk into the biggest show of the year as WWE Women’s Champion just as she did at WrestleMania 41.
