Two matches are now set for WWE Crown Jewel 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, including Roman Reigns in action

There’s a lot of uncertainty surrounding the event, but as things stand, WWE Crown Jewel 2026 is still set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 7.

Crown Jewel is the next premium live event on WWE’s calendar, and even if it doesn’t end up taking place in Riyadh as planned, a different location may well end up playing host to the show instead, as opposed to an outright cancellation.

Coming out of Money in the Bank this past Saturday, we now know two of the matches that will take place at Crown Jewel, unless, of course, anything changes in the next month.

As has become an annual occurrence since 2024, the WWE Crown Jewel Championship matches will pit the men’s and women’s World Champions from Raw against the men’s and women’s WWE Champions from SmackDown.

After a couple of title matches at Money in the Bank, we now know who those champions will be.

Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn

On the men’s side, the 2026 Crown Jewel Championship match is set to see World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns take on Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn.

Crown Jewel taking place in Saudi Arabia, and this being the eventual champion vs champion match, was a big reason why Zayn won the WWE Title in the first place, as he would be guaranteed a major fan favorite reaction in Saudi.

On top of that, this is a callback to the peak of the Bloodline story, which saw Zayn challenge Reigns at Elimination Chamber 2023 in Zayn’s hometown of Montreal.

If WWE does move Crown Jewel away from Saudi Arabia and still wants a similar fan reaction, they could try to get in a venue in Montreal, or at least somewhere in Canada, and this match could end up being just as hot, if not hotter.

Or… with Penta having won the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match this past weekend, there might be a possibility of Penta cashing in the contract on Zayn, becoming WWE Champion, and setting up a rematch from a few weeks ago against Reigns – potentially running it back in Mexico if WWE can find a venue there.

That doesn’t seem off the table, but as things stand, it’ll be Reigns vs Zayn in Riyadh. There is, however, a world where WWE goes ahead with the show in Saudi, but Reigns refuses to travel there, in which case, the Crown Jewel Title match may just have to be called off.

Neither Reigns nor Zayn have won the Crown Jewel Title yet, with the previous winners on the men’s side being Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

Liv Morgan vs. Chelsea Green

Liv Morgan and Chelsea Green have never faced each other one-on-one

Another Crown Jewel Championship match now set up after Money in the Bank is Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan facing WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green.

Morgan won the title at Money in the Bank, becoming a four-time champion with a win against Becky Lynch and defending champion Stephanie Vaquer in their three-way match.

Meanwhile, Green recently became the official full WWE Women’s Champion after she was originally only the Interim champion in the absence of Rhea Ripley due to injury.

Unless there’s a swift Money in the Bank cash-in from new two-time winner Tiffany Stratton in the next few weeks, this looks to be the match that’ll take place at Crown Jewel, wherever the event ends up taking place.

Morgan is a previous Crown Jewel Champion, having defeated Nia Jax in 2024. The 2025 champion was Vaquer, who beat Stratton.
