Three new WWE NXT signings: Could we see a big new arrival at Halloween Havoc 2026?

The WWE NXT roster has lost several big names in recent months, with Lola Vice, Jaida Parker and OTM (Lucien Price & Bronco Nima) all departing for Monday Night Raw.

While the brand did a good job filling other gaps in the roster post-WrestleMania 42, this latest wave of call-ups should result in Robert Stone getting back on the phone once again to a number of available talent on the free agent market.

Here are three potential new WWE NXT signings we could see arrive on the brand soon.

Anthony Bowens

After a successful six-year run in All Elite Wrestling, which saw him hold AEW World Tag Team and Trios gold as a part of The Acclaimed, Anthony Bowens is now a free agent after his AEW deal expired on October 1.

“The Pride of Pro Wrestling” exits the company with a lot of untapped potential as a singles star, with things never quite panning out for either him or Max Caster once they went their separate ways. While Caster is likely now blackballed from WWE – at least for the time being – after his controversial rap at TNA Bound for Glory, the company should definitely consider signing Bowens to the NXT brand.

It was reported last month that WWE had “at least some” interest in signing Bowens, but we may have have to wait for an in-ring debut as the 35-year-old recently revealed he’s dealing with a knee injury.

Richard Holliday

Richard Holliday has been linked with WWE throughout 2026, with the former MLW standout attending a tryout for the company back in February.

It appeared as if the 33-year-old was bidding farewell to the independent scene back in July when he left his boots in the ring after competing at a GCW show, but he would later make light of the gesture and has yet to arrive in WWE as many expected he would by now.

If WWE still have interest in Holliday he would make for an ideal new addition to the NXT locker room; bringing over 10 years experience, but at 33 still having a great amount of upside for the next decade plus.

Scorpio Sky

Unlike Max Caster and Anthony Bowens, who are known to already be free agents, Scorpio Sky’s AEW deal is said to be up in October but there is no confirmation as to when.

At 43, Sky isn’t someone who WWE may consider as a long-term star, but he is certainly someone who could give the NXT brand a whole lot if he was given the opportunity.

Much like Shawn Spears did when he returned to WWE at a similar age, Sky could not only work as a talent, but also lend his experience to the young stars coming through the NXT system.
