WWE star Carmelo Hayes breaks silence after joining 946: is there another twist coming?

WWE

WWE star Carmelo Hayes shares his thoughts for the first time since his shocking debut as the newest member of 946 on WWE Raw.

After the end of last night’s (October 12) edition WWE Raw ended in a stunning fashion with Carmelo Hayes being revealed as a shock new member to Royce Keys’ 946 faction – the former United States Champion has broken his silence.

New member revealed

Taking to Instagram to share pics and a clip from the closing moments of this week’s WWE Raw featuring Hayes being revealed as the latest member of 946 – Hayes has shared his thoughts on the matter.

Writing in the caption, Hayes noted:

“‘The reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated’

Ain’t Nobody Safe #946”

It’s been reported that it was a pitch from Royce Keys that ended up leading to Carmelo Hayes being added to the group.

More shocking reveals ahead?

While WWE Survivor Series WarGames is top of mind to fans with the bubbling Bloodline story, the next premium live event is actually the upcoming Crown Jewel 2026.

With events stacked fairly close together, Crown Jewel 2026 is set for Saturday, November 7, is only three weeks later on November 28.

Since two matches for Crown Jewel 2026 have already been announced – the Champion vs. Champion matches between both Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn and Chelsea Green vs. Liv Morgan, the Money in the Bank briefcases are in play.

946 take Riyadh?

Now that the 946 faction is growing in numbers with the additions of Carmelo Hayes, Jaida Parker and Bronco Nima & Lucien Price to Royce Keys’ group – the squad seems unstoppable but possibly, not done recruiting.

With an important bout set for Crown Jewel, more in terms of overall bragging rights rather than consequential to the titles – there could be a major betrayal coming to Roman Reigns.

Not only could an interference by 946 end up causing Reigns to lose the Crown Jewel match against Sami Zayn, the venue could hold the perfect opportunity for a shocking twist.

Surprise final member?

While Jaida Parker did presumably take Jacob Fatu out of action by hitting him with a car on WWE Raw – there could be a major swerve ahead.

Should Fatu return and unite with Royce Keys against Roman Reigns and The Bloodline – there could be a more interesting final member of the Bloodline to return to the group.

Throwing it back OG Bloodline, perhaps this year’s WarGames team could also include Sami Zayn.

Crown Jewel could definitely see the 946 faction take out not only Roman but Sami as well, uniting the pair of former allies against the faction running roughshod over WWE.
