Now qualified for the women’s Money in the Bank match, Roxanne Perez could claim her first top WWE championship on the main roster.
The September 21 episode of WWE Raw saw Roxanne Perez qualify in a Triple Threat victory over IYO SKY and La Catalina.
Heading to WWE Money in the Bank on October 10, Perez joins Jacy Jayne, Lola Vice, Sol Ruca and two as-yet-undetermined stars in the titular women’s match, with the winner going on to a guaranteed women’s championship match at a later date.
For the Judgment Day member, such an opportunity would be a well-deserved one, although perhaps not with her recent record:
The 2026 Match Record
To date, in 2026, Roxanne Perez has competed in four singles matches, with losses to Charlotte Flair, IYO SKY, Sol Ruca (albeit by disqualification), and Stephanie Vaquer. Her last singles win came back in December of last year, seeing a victory over Lyra Valkyria, although she would end the year with a loss to Bayley.
Perez hasn’t seen much success in tag team action, scoring two victories: one in January with Liv Morgan and the other in April with Raquel Rodriguez.
Failing to qualify for the Queen of the Ring in June, the Money in the Bank qualifying match is perhaps the highest-profile outing so far the Judgment Day member.
Why The Loss Record Should Matter
The women’s Money in the Bank match is a huge hurdle, with the winner having to overcome the odds, climb the ladder, and grab the briefcase.
It may not be a singles match, but the eventual championship encounter very much will be and, despite any bravado Perez may demonstrate, loss after loss is hardly a viable way to say “hey, I’m a top title contender”.
There’s a chance to correct the course, however, although there are only two episodes of WWE Raw between now and Money in the Bank. Presenting Perez as a genuine top championship contender ahead of the ladder match would need her to defeat her opponents in singles action.
Giving Perez the opportunity to leave her mark on two of her opponents has the potential to shake their confidence and build the Judgment Day member’s own. It would work better than sneak attacks and should be the sort of thing that she does alone, without backup from Raquel Rodriguez or Liv Morgan.
As for who the targets should be: Lola Vice, who debuted on this week’s WWE Raw, and Sol Ruca would likely to be the most obvious choices. Jacy Jayne, after all, is never far from her Fatal Influence cohorts.
Perez has the ability to excel in a top spot in WWE, and dominant victories in singles action, along with a strong main roster feud on her own terms, would be a solid way of moving her in that direction.
