Following WWE SummerSlam 2026, Seth Rollins has taken some time off from the company’s programming.

Having not been seen in over a month, many fans were questioning where Rollins could be.

After re-appearing on a WWE live event this week, it seems fans will not have to wait long before “The Visionary” is back on their screens.

With that in mind, here are eight potential Seth Rollins WWE return opponents.

8. Roman Reigns

At WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night Two, Roman Reigns defeated Seth Rollins to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

After this victory, Reigns embraced Rollins with the Shield fist pump to seemingly put their rivalry to bed.

While SummerSlam 2026 was billed as possibly the final time these two would meet, WWE could get greed and want to give fans another clash between the former Shield brethren.

Rollins wanting to go back after the World Heavyweight Title could lead to an inevitable rematch with “The OTC” upon his return.

7. Bron Breakker

Another former rival who could be Seth Rollins’ return opponent is Bron Breakker.

Back at WWE Night of Champions 2026, Rollins defeated Breakker in a Steel Cage Match.

This win led to Rollins going on to challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2026.

Wanting to get himself back in title contention and prove himself as “the future,” Breakker may need to avenge his previous loss against Rollins when he makes his way back into the fold.

6. Bronson Reed

Another Vision member who has some unfinished business with Seth Rollins is Bronson Reed.

At WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event, Reed made his return to cause a disqualification in the Oba Femi vs. Bron Breakker match.

Last year, it was Reed who joined Breakker in excommunicating Rollins from the group he created.

Now all these months later, Rollins might want to get a measure of revenge on Reed like he did against Breakker.

5. LA Knight

LA Knight now finds himself in a similar position that Seth Rollins was once in as an enemy to Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.

Since The Bloodline reunited post-WrestleMania 42, Knight has been the most vocal against the group.

It is in a similar fashion to how Knight used to speak about Seth Rollins and The Vision in 2025.

Whenever Rollins returns, he may need to square off with Knight once again to determine who truly deserves the next shot at Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship.

4. Solo Sikoa

There might not be a bigger breakout star in WWE right now on the level of Solo Sikoa.

The former Bloodline member has been defiant against his family and wanting to stand on his own.

This recent attitude change for Sikoa now finds him close to challenging Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship himself.

In another instance of needing to battle someone to get to his ultimate goal of being World Heavyweight Champion again, Rollins might just need to stand across the ring from Solo Sikoa in the near future.

3. Oba Femi

Ever since getting called up to the WWE main roster at the start of 2026, there is no denying that Oba Femi has showcased himself as a future face of the company.

“The Ruler” is now the King of the Ring and recently defeated Brock Lesnar in a Hell In A Cell Match to retire “The Beast Incarnate’ at SummerSlam 2026 in his hometown,

After such a major victory, it is sometimes hard for any promotion to continue to push a star on this level.

While he is currently feuding with The Vision, Femi could be the perfect return opponent for Seth Rollins when he makes his comeback.

2. Jacob Fatu

Since losing Tribal Combat to Roman Reigns at Clash In Italy 2026, Jacob Fatu was forced to acknowledge “The Tribal Chief” and join The Bloodline.

Becoming an enforcer for the group, Fatu has tried to make sure that The Bloodline is respected by everyone.

In the past, Seth Rollins has shown a great deal of disrespect towards The Bloodline.

When he returns, Rollins may find himself in the line of fire against Fatu in what would be an intriguing first time meeting.

1. Royce Keys

On the August 24 episode of WWE Raw, Royce Keys made his return alongside OTM to attack The Usos, LA Knight and Solo Sikoa.

Since then, Keys and OTM have been running roughshod over everyone in front of them, now known as 946.

Keys, Lucien Price and Bronco Nima have challenged the older and established guards, proving they are a different kind of threat.

Being one of WWE’s top stars, Seth Rollins could make for a compelling rival for 946 and could lead to a engaging styles clash with Royce Keys in his return bout.
