On Sunday, August 30, WWE NXT returns for their latest premium live event, Heatwave 2026.

From Edinburg, Texas, championship gold will be up for grabs and scores will be settled.

To conclude the summer, it should be interesting to see who walks out a winner or a loser come Heatwave from Edinburg.

Here are our potential spoilers for the WWE NXT Heatwave 2026 results.

NXT Women’s Championship: Kendal Grey (c) vs. Kelani Jordan

The rivalry between Kendal Grey and Kelani Jordan has spanned months between the two upstart athletes.

Over the past few months, Grey and Jordan have been at each other’s throats embroiled in a rivalry.

After trading wins, Grey won a crucial number one contender’s match against Jordan and went on to defeat Lola Vice to win the NXT Women’s Championship at Great American Bash 2026.

Since winning the gold, Kendal Grey has successfully defended the gold against Nattie and in a NXT Underground rematch against Vice.

Meanwhile, Kelani Jordan has been vocal about the fact that she has never gotten an opportunity at the NXT Women’s Championship in a singles match.

This led to Kendal giving Kelani an open contract that she used for the NXT Heatwave 2026 premium live event.

After splitting their last two meetings, this rubber match should see Grey display her dominance by overcoming her ear injury to dispose of Jordan at WWE NXT Heatwave 2026.

Nattie vs. Jaida Parker in a Submission Match

Over the past few months, Nattie has returned to the NXT brand to kickstart a feud with Jaida Parker.

This led to Nattie defeating Parker in their first singles meeting on the June 16 episode of WWE NXT.

After the match, Nattie even recruited Nikkita Lyons and Karmen Petrovic to join her side as protègès.

However, Parker gained a measure of revenge with a win against Nattie on the July 21 WWE NXT.

Then after seeing her friend assaulted by Nattie, Parker wanted to get her hands on the veteran even more.

Following the submission results in their previous two matches, Nattie challenged Jaida to a Submission Match at WWE NXT Heatwave 2026.

Looking to finally settle the score, Ms. Parker should get this defining victory over Nattie on the big stage that is Heatwave 2026 from Edinburg,

NXT Tag Team Championships: Myles Borne & Tavion Heights (c) vs. The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes)

Back at WWE NXT Great American Bash 2026, Myles Borne defeated Tavion Heights to retain the NXT North American Championship.

Following this match, Borne and Heights reunited their tag team and went to go after gold.

This led to Borne and Heights defeating The Vanity Project to win the NXT Tag Team Championships on the August 4 episode of WWE NXT.

Helping his friend win his first title on NXT, Borne has reestablished his friendship with Heights and now look to prove themselves as fighting champions.

However, this run might not last much longer coming out of WWE NXT Heatwave 2026.

On the August 18 episode of WWE NXT, Jackson Drake defeated Shiloh Hill to earn his Vanity Project stablemates a rematch for the NXT Tag Team Championships.

While Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes have everything it takes to overcome the new champs, it feels too soon for Borne and Heights to lose those titles at Heatwave 2026.

NXT North American Championship: Myles Borne (c) vs. Jackson Drake

That win for Jackson Drake over Shiloh Hill on the August 18 WWE NXT not only helped The Vanity Project get their rematch, but it also helped him get his biggest match yet.

Drake will now challenge Myles Borne for the NXT North American Championship at Heatwave 2026.

Two of the most featured stars on NXT, Borne and Drake have all the makings of a showstealer on the Heatwave 2026 card.

Borne has more than proven himself as a champion since winning the North American Title in February.

After earning wins over Johnny Gargano, Ethan Page and Saquon Shugars, Borne has etched his name in the North American title’s history.

Now with this upcoming defense, Jackson Drake may be a different beast that not even Borne can overcome in Edinburg, Texas.

With Borne holding two titles and set to compete in two matches at Heatwave 2026, Drake has a huge advantage for this NXT North American Championship bout.

NXT Women’s North American & WWE Speed Women’s Championships Winner Takes All Triple Threat Unification Match: ZARIA (c) vs. Wren Sinclair (c) vs. Kali Armstrong

Wren Sinclair has gone a long way to prove herself now being the current WWE Speed Women’s Champion.

However, Sinclair wasn’t satisfied with just one title and looked to challenge ZARIA for the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

Despite holding the Women’s North American Title, ZARIA has had her sights on the WWE Speed Women’s Championship dating back to her time together with Sol Ruca.

After Ruca became a double champion, her friendship with ZARIA started to dwindle away.

Now a year later, it is ZARIA who is looking to hold both the Women’s North American Title, but also the WWE Speed Women’s Championship as well.

ZARIA challenged Sinclair for the title, but the bout went to a five minute time limit draw. They then faced for the NXT Women’s North American Championship with another controversial finish.

Then, Kali Armstrong pinned Sinclair in a tag team match and went on to defeat ZARIA to earn her spot to make this title unification bout a three-way.

With three featured talents wanting to become a double champion, it feels like ZARIA should be the favorite to win it all at Heatwave 2026.

NXT Championship Fatal Four Way Match: Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. Grayson Waller vs. Cruz Montana vs. Zilla Fatu

Tony D’Angelo has a target on his back as the current reigning NXT Champion.

On the July 21 episode of WWE NXT, Cruz Montana made his official debut and immediately confronted D’Angelo.

Then, Grayson Waller was next to head to NXT from the main roster with a scathing promo calling out the entire men’s division.

From there, Waller and Montana were scheduled to face each other in a number one contender’s match on the August 11 WWE NXT, but Zilla Fatu made his debut and destroyed both men.

The following week, Robert Stone announced D’Angelo will defend the NXT Championship against Waller, Montana and Fatu in a four way for the WWE NXT Heatwave 2026 event.

Tony D now finds himself with his back against the wall and will have to fight more than ever to survive Heatwave.

Out of the three challengers, Grayson Waller feels like the one who could dethrone D’Angelo and fill the void as NXT Champion for these other stars to chase after for the next few months.
