At WrestleMania 42, Stephanie Vaquer lost the Women’s World Championship to Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan.

Since then, Stephanie has been out of action with an injury, with her yet to make her presence felt once again on WWE television.

Stephanie’s absence is felt in a major way on WWE television right now, with a number of potential avenues for her return.

Here are some potential WWE return plans for Stephanie Vaquer.

Rematch With Liv Morgan For Women’s World Championship

Since winning the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania, Liv Morgan has not defended the title at all on television, with her first defence coming against IYO SKY at SummerSlam.

Stephanie’s absence has clearly led to a major change of plans with Morgan’s title run, with a rematch between the two being set up on the Raw after WrestleMania 42.

When Stephanie is cleared to return, there’s a chance that Liv will still reign as the champion, opening the door for the potential rematch, that hopefully lasts more than 5 minutes this time.

However, Liv isn’t the only champion that Stephanie could target.

Moving To SmackDown For Dream Match With Rhea Ripley

Since Stephanie’s main roster call up, there have been on and off teases of a future clash between herself and Rhea Ripley.

While the match didn’t end up happening at this year’s WrestleMania, it remains a big match that WWE could run down the line.

Rhea continues to reign as the WWE Women’s Champion through her ongoing injury, with her having already defeated the top names of the SmackDown brand.

WWE is in desperate need of a Draft of some kind, which could see Stephanie move over to the blue brand to begin the build to a clash with Mami.

Joining AAA Roster To Form Alliance With La Catalina

When Stephanie Vaquer signed with WWE in 2024, she became the second Chilean to officially sign with WWE, coming over from CMLL.

However, earlier this year, the first Chilean wrestler to sign with WWE, La Catalina, made the move over from CMLL to AAA, returning to the WWE umbrella.

Catalina is on a quest to take the Reina de Reinas Championship from Lady Flammer and Las Toxicas in AAA, recently calling on the help of Lola Vice and Bayley.

With Lola and Bayley now busy elsewhere, Catalina calling upon Stephanie to form a new alliance would bring some major heat to AAA’s women’s roster.

Rivalry With Becky Lynch

When Stephanie Vaquer reigned as Women’s World Champion, she spent most of her time defending the title against only Raquel Rodriguez and Nikki Bella before losing the title to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42.

During the time, Becky Lynch also reigned as the Women’s Intercontinental Champion, with her and Stephanie never crossing paths during their respective runs.

With Becky now free of the Intercontinental Championship, she is currently waiting for creative to find her next rival.

Stephanie and Becky starting a non-title feud would be a much needed boost to the Women’s roster on Raw.

Turning Heel On IYO SKY

Stephanie Vaquer and IYO SKY have some history themselves on the WWE main roster, with IYO being Stephanie’s first opponent on Raw.

Stephanie would also defeat IYO to win the vacant Women’s World Championship back at WrestlePalooza to begin her run with the title.

WWE loves to create it’s shocking moments, so Stephanie making her return to help IYO against the Judgment Day, only to betray her and help Liv win, would create one of those viral moments the company enjoys touting.

Plus, a series of matches between IYO and Stephanie, with Stephanie revitalising her career as a heel, would make for incredible television for the rest of the year.

Forming Tag Team With Giulia

When Stephanie Vaquer joined WWE back in 2024, she was almost immediately connected with Giulia, who also joined WWE at the same time.

The pair debuted on NXT television within weeks of each other, with Giulia capturing the NXT Women’s Championship while Stephanie captured the Women’s North American Championship, leading to them facing off in a winner take all title vs. title match at Roadblock last year.

With both women currently alone on the main roster following Giulia and Kiana James’ break up, the two friends coming back together to dominate the Women’s Tag Team division would bring a lot of life to the division.

The Women’s Tag Team Championship have long needed some much needed focus and attention, and the Stephanie and Giulia alliance bringing out the best in their opponents would be an exciting direction for the titles.
