Having A Wrestle
If you’ve ever watched a wrestling match in your life, you know there is much more than falling down and rolling around.
But you have to be good at A, before you can get to B.
I would not say that I was doing good, but Robert and Elijah were kind enough to let me continue a little bit more.
Much to my surprise: My body let me go that extra mile, too.
So it was run the ropes. And DAMN they hurt!
Something I did not realize is that you pull the rope towards yourself a bit before you actually run into them.
Just after that, it was time for a lock-up and head-lock session.
As you can see above, I was able to get the wXw Shotgun Champion to almost submit.
Unfortunately, though, the bell never rang.
Of course, I am just kidding. Blum showed the true heart of a champion as he patiently walked me through the positions.
Again, a lot of body parts are in motion and you have to be aware of your opponent and yourself.
A headlock isn’t just squeezing someone’s head, it much much more than that.
From start to finish, you need to move your arms, legs, and ultimately your entire body to keep the flow of the move going.
And time for the finish it was, but there was one more thing left to say…
