Three new signings set to bolster thriving AEW women’s roster

In recent months, AEW’s women’s roster has continued to thrive in the company, with Mercedes Mone and the Brawling Birds’ crowning moments at All In: London sparking a new era for the division.

However, as the division continues to grow, the company could always use some new names to add to it’s ranks to help flesh out the roster, and thankfully it seems that at least three are set to join the company soon.

Following recent reports, here are three new names we will likely see join the AEW women’s roster in the coming weeks.

KAIRI

Back in April, WWE proved how little they valued Kairi Sane when the Pirate Princess was released from the company in the midst of an ongoing months long storyline with Asuka and IYO SKY that never got it’s appropriate pay off.

However, it seems as though WWE’s loss is AEW’s gain, as recent reports note that there have been talks between KAIRI and AEW recently, which would indicate at least interest from Tony Khan in bringing her into the company.

AEW also has a working agreement with STARDOM, making KAIRI also eligible to head back over to Japan to work a few matches for them, just as Thekla has been doing recently.

Dani Luna

Back in March, Dani Luna was granted her release from TNA Wrestling, with her free agent status drawing a lot of speculation in the wrestling world over the past few months.

However, her future is no longer a mystery, as it was reported last week that Luna was expected to sign with AEW, if she hasn’t already done so.

Another powerhouse to join the ranks, Luna would make for the perfect foil to names like Willow Nightingale, Kris Statlander and Jamie Hayter.

Mara Sade

Another former TNA Knockout, Mara Sade departed TNA on August 3, with it being reported that she had interest from both AEW and WWE.

However, Mara recently updated her own website, with her noting that she now worked for AEW, with it later being confirmed by Fightful Select that she had signed with the promotion.

The real-life girlfriend of AEW star Kevin Knight, many fans have speculated that the two could be paired together on screen when Mara makes her debut in AEW.
