Three New TNA Wrestling Signings

The TNA Wrestling roster has undergone some significant changes in 2026, with several new arrivals and even more names walking out the door.

With former WWE star Zoey Serrano joining up with the company last week, and Bound for Glory on the horizon, we could see even more free agents arrive in the Impact Zone.

Here are three potential new TNA Wrestling signings coming soon.

Romeo Malverde (Santos Escobar)

Part of the same group of WWE releases as the aforementioned Zoey Serrano, Romeo Malverde (fka Santos Escobar) was one of the most surprising cuts on the list.

Malverde had attempted to depart WWE back in October last year, only for the company to convince him to re-sign with a bumper new contract; suggesting that a major push may be in his future.

A move to AAA in the new year came instead, however, Malverde’s run was cut short due to a tricep injury and he was released shortly after his surgery. Now he’s back fit and healthy, fans of the former Legado del Fantasma leader are anticipating his next move, but there’s been no indication of where he will land yet.

Having previously wrestled in TNA back in 2017-2018 as El Hijo del Fantasma, perhaps a return to the company could be his best next step; only this time as Romeo Malverde. TNA is in need of some new main event level talent, and Malverde could certainly be elevated to that level with the right push.

Killer Kross & Scarlett Bordeaux

Speaking of TNA alumni, Killer Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux have spent the past year rebuilding their careers on the independent scene after exiting WWE in August 2025.

And it’s safe to say the husband and wife pairing have done that to great effect, with Kross holding multiple championships across different promotions; most notably being the MLW World Heavyweight Title which he has now held for over 200 days.

While they seem happy where they’re at, Kross and Scarlett have more big moves in them and a return to weekly network television is what they should be aiming for.

Despite WWE not shying away from signing released talent in 2026, TNA seems like the likeliest way they could do that right now, and they would absolutely be pushed to the top of the card if they did make their return.

Malakai Black & Xelina (Aleister Black & Zelina Vega)

Another two-for-one signing would be fellow husband and wife pairing: Malakai Black and Xelina.

On paper, both should be shoo-ins for All Elite Wrestling, however, given Black’s apparent reputation in the promotion, a return there has been questioned.

While Andrade El Idolo has proven that there can be a way back, there has been no word regarding AEW approaching Black and Xelina since they became free agents in July.

With that being said, TNA should capitalise on their seeming availability and make them offers. Xelina has history in TNA – as she previously made her name in wrestling through her work as Rosita in the early 2010s; while Black has never appeared in the Impact Zone.
