Back in July, NXT welcomed another former top TNA Wrestling star, as Cruz Montana (fka Mike Santana) officially arrived as a WWE superstar.

Montana is the latest example, but there have been no shortage of names who have made the exact same jump in recent years, and given the two company’s working relationship it’s certainly likely to happen once again.

Here are three TNA Wrestling stars to potentially sign with WWE.

Eric Young

Starting with someone who is technically no longer under contract with TNA Wrestling: Eric Young.

The former Sanity frontman is no stranger to WWE, having previously spent four years there in his first run between 2016-2020, and another, much shorter spell between 2022 and 2023.

While he’s now 46 years old, Young is reportedly due to sign with WWE a third time according to a July report; however, this time it will be in a player/coach role, similar to current NXT star Shawn Spears.

There has not been any confirmation of Young’s arrival in WWE, but he interestingly has not been in action anywhere else since departing TNA Wrestling on July 1, so there could very well be weight to the rumors.

Leon Slater

After losing the likes of Cruz Montana, Joe Hendry and Jordynne Grace in recent years, TNA Wrestling now has a new prized asset in the form of 21-year-old Leon Slater.

After winning back his TNA X-Division Championship from Cedric Alexander at TNA Lockdown, ‘The Youngest in Charge’ invoked Option C to relinquish his title and challenge Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Title.

Slater winning the gold at TNA Bound for Glory 2026 would be a historic moment for he and the company, as the English star would become the youngest person to ever hold TNA’s biggest prize.

Doing just that should be enough to lock Slater down in TNA into 2027, however, there are reports that his deal is coming up at the end of this year. Considering WWE have spotlighted Slater at some of their biggest shows already, it would be a massive surprise to see him not eventually move to WWE on a full-time basis eventually.

The Hardy Boyz

At TNA Lockdown 2026, The Hardy Boyz lost their TNA Wrestling World Tag Team Championships to The Nemeths in the show’s main event.

Nic Nemeth will have his hands full defending his TNA World Title against Leon Slater at Bound for Glory, but The Hardys have plenty to deal with in their own right, as Jeff was attacked and loaded onto an ambulance during the August 27 episode of Impact.

While The Hardys are still as involved as ever in TNA, and reportedly committed to new long-term contracts late last year, they have also publicly expressed a desire to finish up their careers in WWE.

Whether this means a final run inside the ring, or just a Hall of Fame induction fans will be expecting to see Matt and Jeff return to where it all began at some point in the future.
