The past few months have seen some significant babyface turns in WWE, with Becky Lynch and Solo Sikoa among the latest heels to have a change of heart.
These turns – as well as other examples this year like Chad Gable – have given these stars a shot in the arm and provided them fresh creative direction heading into the latter third of 2026.
Here are three more potential babyface turns we could see in WWE soon.
Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae
Johnny Gargano has only wrestled four times on WWE TV since falling into his depressive state.
Starting off with two WWE stars that are less overtly on the heel side that others on this list: Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae.
While his former DIY partner has spent 2026 mixing it up in his new home of AEW, Gargano has been planking on a crate backstage in a state of depression; much to the dismay of LeRae.
However, with Gargano potentially dropping a tease of a return to his glory days in WWE, it may finally be time for a rebirth of sorts for ‘Johnny Wrestling.’
Returning to their babyface roles, Gargano and LeRae should finally get back to regular in-ring action and show fans what they’ve been missing out on throughout this year.
Ivy Nile
The September 1 episode of WWE NXT saw The Creed Brothers make their return to the brand where they made their name years ago.
As seen recently with Grayson Waller and several others in the past, a return to NXT can be exactly what is needed to reboot a career; so that’s why Ivy Nile should be next to make that same move.
Not only are Nile and The Creed Brothers closely linked through the American Made faction, but long before that they also teamed together in The Diamond Mine.
Nile, like Julius and Brutus, has not found her footing on the main roster, so a return to NXT would be the best next step for her career.
Paul Heyman
At WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event, Oba Femi will take on Bron Breakker in a first-time matchup.
Caught between the middle of the feud is Paul Heyman, someone who is technically still ‘The Oracle’ for Breakker and The Vision, but has instead spent way more time focused on Oba Femi in 2026 than his own faction.
While Heyman and Femi were on opposing sides for the majority of the year, ‘The Ruler’ retiring Brock Lesnar has led to a new found respect between the two. This friendliness between Femi and Heyman has not gone unnoticed by Breakker, and it feels as if something has to give for Heyman this Sunday.
Rather than continuing to invest in Breakker and The Vision, Heyman can put all his eggs into the ‘Oba Femi is the future of WWE’ basket – a move that seems more logical on paper right now. While he doesn’t really need it, forming an allegiance with Heyman would be a major statement making moment for the Nigerian star.
