A WWE name has confirmed that they are no longer under contract to the company after a recent deal they agreed.

After his release from WWE back in 2021, Tyler Breeze was able to remain part of WWE, when he signed a contract for the UpUpDownDown channel, as well as to be featured in the WWE video games.

Breeze has remained part of all WWE 2k games since his release, with he and Xavier Woods being the focal points of the MyGM mode.

Following Woods’ WWE departure and him signing with AEW, fans had noticed that Austin Creed, Claudio Castagnoli and Adam Cole were now all under contract with AEW, bringing us closer to DaParty reuniting.

Tyler Breeze No Longer Under WWE Deal

Breeze is the only name not signed to AEW, with many seeing his current deal with WWE as a roadblock to the reunion, but that is not the case anymore.

When a fan noted that Breeze was the last missing piece, but he was under contract with WWE, he simply responded:

No he’s not

When one fan then asked how Breeze was able to be featured in the WWE video games, he noted that he was under a deal with the company, but no longer is.

He said:

I was under a deal with WWE. Not anymore

Breeze has not confirmed if he is under any kind of non-compete clause following his WWE deal ending or if he is now free and clear to sign wherever he wishes.

Major Losses For WWE 2K27 Roster

With Tyler Breeze confirming he’s no longer under a deal with WWE, 2k26 will likely be the last game we see him as part of the roster.

Breeze is far from the only name that won’t be returning for WWE 2k27, with some major members of the game’s roster set to be removed next year following their departures from WWE.

WWE 2k27 will not feature Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Sheamus, Ilja Dragunov, Kairi Sane, Tommaso Ciampa, Motor City Machine Guns, Mick Foley, Aleister Black and many other stars that have left the company over the past year.
