WWE
October has already been a busy month when it comes to the free agent market, with names from WWE and AEW seeing their deals expire.
While Money in the Bank is always a landscape changing event for WWE, we could see the company further shake things up by introducing several new faces in the weeks and months following the event.
Here are three potential free agent stars that could sign WWE contracts after Money in the Bank 2026:
Anthony Bowens

Anthony Bowens joined Samoa Joe’s The Opps faction in May 2026.
It was confirmed yesterday (October 2) that former AEW World Tag Team and Trios Champion Anthony Bowens had officially entered free agency after his contract with All Elite Wrestling expired.
Bowens featured on AEW programming as recently as this past week at the All Out Tailgate Brawl, so his exit is a little out field, even if he hasn’t been used super prominently in 2026.
If this is indeed the end of the road for Bowens in AEW, he may have WWE as an option next, as it has been reported that the company have “at least some” interest in signing “The Pride of Pro Wrestling.” The big question is: Will he arrive in WWE along?
Max Caster
Along with Anthony Bowens, it was also confirmed that his former tag team partner Max Caster had also exited AEW at the end of his contract.
Unlike Bowens, Caster has not been on AEW TV at all lately, with his last match in the company being in December 2025. One of his latest social media posts also seemingly confirmed his free agency, so yeah, it appears as if his time in AEW is indeed over.
There has not been any word regarding possible WWE interest in Caster, but one would think if the company were interested in Bowens they may also be looking at “Platinum Max.” The Acclaimed were once one of AEW’s hottest acts and WWE really needs more tag teams, so they shouldn’t turn their nose up at bringing both Bowens and Caster on board.
Enzo Amore
Speaking of tag teams, Enzo Amore was expected to rejoin WWE this year along with Big Cass once the seven foot tall star finished up with AEW in the Summer. What instead happened was Cass arrived back in WWE alone, leaving Amore’s status a mystery.
While it has only been two months, Cass has failed to light the world on fire as a solo act in WWE this far. Taking back-to-back losses on Raw certainly isn’t going to help fans care about the former Big Bill, so it can be argued his failure to launch is entirely WWE’s doing.
Re-signing Enzo Amore and putting him back with Cass would certainly help get things back on track, and, as mentioned, WWE needs tag teams right now, certainly way more than they need a big monster heel in the mid card.
