On Sunday, May 31, WWE will hold their first major premium live event from Italy with the Clash In Italy 2026 show.
Coming off the heels of WWE Backlash 2026, there will be plenty of directions for the company to go in regards to the lineup for their show in Turin, Italy.
From title bouts to grudge matches, this card will be quite intriguing with what will take place throughout this historic event.
Here are our predictions for the potential card for WWE Clash In Italy 2026.
Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. GUNTHER

Cody Rhodes defeated GUNTHER to become the inaugural Men’s Crown Jewel Champion in 2024
On the May 1 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Cody Rhodes defeated Ricky Saints in a singles match.
After the win, Rhodes was attacked from behind by GUNTHER, who applied a sleeper hold to leave “The American Nightmare” laying and raised the Undisputed WWE Championship in the air.
Then on the May 8 SmackDown, Paul Heyman orchestrated a contract for GUNTHER to challenge Rhodes for the title at WWE Clash In Italy 2026.
With this contest having what it takes to headline this huge event from Turin, Italy, GUNTHER and Rhodes should be a high profile showdown that could alter the foundation of the blue brand moving forward.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Paige & Brie Bella (c) vs. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid)
On the April 24 WWE SmackDown After WrestleMania 42, Fatal Influence made their main roster debut by attacking Paige, Brie Bella, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss during their tag team match.
After sending a message to the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid have made it clear that they are coming for the gold.
While Paige and Brie won the title at WrestleMania 42, it doesn’t feel like their reign will be going on for too much longer.
Fatal Influence’s Henley and Reid could have what it takes to dethrone Paige and Brie, walking out of WWE Clash In Italy with the tag title.
Royce Keys vs. Solo Sikoa

Royce Keys was greeted by Solo Sikoa after he won the 2026 Andre the Giant Battle Royal
Over the past few weeks, fans have seen the history between Royce Keys and The Bloodline family members coming to the forefront.
Since arriving on Friday Night SmackDown, Keys has been picking up momentum, notably winning the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Solo Sikoa has seen the potential of Keys and wants to bring him into his MFTs stable. If Keys gives him a definitive no, this could lead to Sikoa turning his fury onto his family’s friend.
Keys going one-on-one with Sikoa would make for a compelling battle for the WWE Clash In Italy 2026 card.
“Demon” Finn Balor vs. JD McDonagh in a Steel Cage Match
At WWE WrestleMania 42 Night Two, “Demon” Finn Balor defeated Dominik Mysterio in a Street Fight.
It looked to put Balor’s rivalry with The Judgment Day to bed, but things are still heated with the former stablemates.
After picking up a win on the April 20 WWE Raw After WrestleMania 42, Balor lost to JD McDonagh thanks to help from The Judgment Day on the May 4 episode of Monday Night Raw.
Balor getting a rematch against McDonagh inside a Steel Cage at WWE Clash In Italy could see a return of his “Demon” persona to finally settle the score with The Judgment Day.
WWE Intercontinental Championship: Penta (c) vs. Rusev vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Ethan Page

Penta retained the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 42
Penta has more contenders coming after his Intercontinental Championship than ever before as of late.
While Je’Von Evans and Rusev are still taking aim at the gold coming off their loss in a Ladder Match at WrestleMania 42 Night Two, a new challenger has entered into the picture with a ton of momentum.
Getting called up to the WWE main roster, Ethan Page has been on a roll with a singles victory over Evans and pinning Penta in a tag team contest.
This could set the stage for Penta to defend the IC Title in a four-way against Page, Evans and Rusev at the WWE Clash In Italy 2026 premium live event.
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Sol Ruca
On the April 20 WWE Raw After WrestleMania 42, Sol Ruca made her official main roster debut and has since become the newest member of the red brand.
This led to Ruca signing her Raw contract, but being interrupted by WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch.
After the former NXT star laid out “The Man” with a Sol Snatcher, this should lead to Ruca challenging Lynch for the gold sometime soon.
WWE Clash In Italy would be an interesting setting for Sol to face Becky for the Women’s IC Title on May 31.
WWE Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Jade Cargill

Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to win the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42
At WrestleMania 42 Night Two, Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to win the WWE Women’s Championship.
Since then, Ripley has made her new home on Friday Night SmackDown and hasn’t backed down for anyone challenging her.
However, Cargill made her return on the May 8 episode of SmackDown when she attacked Ripley during a six-woman tag team match with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair against Fatal Influence.
After leaving Rhea, Charlotte and Alexa laying, Cargill can now get her rematch for the WWE Women’s Championship at the WWE Clash In Italy PLE.
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tribal Combat Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jacob Fatu
Roman Reigns successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Jacob Fatu at WWE Backlash 2026.
While Reigns was ultimately victorious, it would be Fatu who’d end the event standing tall, after attacking his cousin following the match.
While Reigns stated after the match that he will ensure Backlash marks Jacob’s last night in WWE, it would make sense for the duo to settle things once and for all in a rematch with an added stipulation.
Reigns and Fatu battling one more time in a Tribal Combat at WWE Clash In Italy 2026 would make for a huge main event showdown to determine who is the “Tribal Chief” and if “The Samoan Werewolf” has to finally acknowledge “The OTC.”
