Roman Reigns wants Jacob Fatu to be gone fron WWE after their match at Backlash 2026, saying Fatu “doesn’t belong” in the company.
The main event of WWE Backlash saw Reigns retain the World Heavyweight Championship against Fatu, but it was Fatu who left the show standing tall as he assaulted Reigns post-match.
In a quick interview on the official Backlash post-show, Reigns reacted to Fatu’s attack, saying:
“This is why we never should have let Jacob in this company. You don’t belong here Jacob, there is no order with you. This is your last night here.”

Meanwhile, Fatu also spoke on the post-show, saying:
“Today I just kicked Roman’s ass. I told y’all how wild I am. I’m off the scale with it. I’m raw, I’m cut with it.
When’s the last time y’all seen someone like me crash out on WWE? Nobody!
“It ain’t how you start, it’s how you finish, and at the end of the day, look at Roman, his punk ass just realised I’m all gas, no brakes with it.”

The conclusion of the show and these comments from the two seem to suggest a rematch between Reigns and Fatu is on the way, and with Reigns set for WWE Clash In Paris later this month, that seems like a likely place for that to take place.
Reigns isn’t planned for any WWE dates in June including Night of Champions, but will be back in the fold for SummerSlam at the start of August.
