WWE has confirmed the two Crown Jewel Championship matches for the November 7 premium live event, amid uncertainty surrounding the upcoming show.
At the event – which WWE is still promoting as taking place in Riyad, Saudi Arabia – World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns will face Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn to determine the 2026 Men’s Crown Jewel Champion.
The Women’s Crown Jewel Title will be awarded to the winner of Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan vs WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green.
Introduced in 2024, the Crown Jewel Championship is awarded annually to the winner of a match between the two world champions in both the men’s and women’s divisions.
Four individuals have held this accolade since its introduction, they are…
2024 women’s – Liv Morgan
The first-ever Crown Jewel Champion to be crowned was from the women’s division, with the women’s title match taking place before the men’s at the 2024 premium live event.
This bout saw Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan face off against Nia Jax to crown the inaugural titleholder.
Liv Morgan’s victory was far from clean, with Dominik Mysterio distracting the referee and Raquel Rodriguez striking Nia Jax, ahead of Morgan hitting the ObLivion to make WWE history.
Morgan will have another opportunity to make history on November 7, when she could become the first two-time Crown Jewel Champion.
2024 men’s – Cody Rhodes
The 2024 show was headlined by a clash of two of WWE’s most dominant stars, with Undisputed WWE Champion facing off against World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER.
Cody Rhodes was ultimately victorious, with the American Nightmare reversing the Ring General’s sleeper hold into a quick pin to become the first Men’s Crown Jewel Champion.
Rhodes is one of just seven stars who have pinned or submitted GUNTHER in WWE, with this match marking the first occasion of him doing so.
Cody was also in action in the 2025 Crown Jewel Championship match, but wasn’t as fortunate in that appearance.
2025 women’s – Stephanie Vaquer
The 2025 Women’s Crown Jewel Championship match was a notable chapter in Stephanie Vaquer’s meteoric rise on the main roster.
Vaquer won the vacant Women’s World Championship in a match against IYO SKY at Wrestlepalooza in September 2025, just five months on from her Raw debut.
She hadn’t even had her first title defense ahead of facing WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton at that October’s Crown Jewel event.
Stephanie Vaquer scored a decisive victory in this match to become the second ever Women’s Crown Jewel Champion.
2025 men’s – Seth Rollins
The 2025 Men’s Crown Jewel Championship match competitors had a lot of history with one another heading into the match, with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins facing off against Cody Rhodes.
With Rollins coming up short against Rhodes during the American Nightmare’s return match at WrestleMania 38 in 2022, and at the subsequent WrestleMania Backlash and Hell in a Cell premium live events, the Visionary was hellbent on defeating Rhodes in Perth, Australia.
While Seth Rollins did walk away with the W, it was a pyrrhic victory, with the Men’s Crown Jewel Champion having suffered a shoulder injury during the match.
Absent from the ring for six months following this match, most fans remember this bout for the knock-on effect it had, rather than the back-and-forth clash between long-time rivals.
