Two WWE legends are absent from a recent list of the greatest Money in the Bank wins, and one Hall of Famer has shared their thoughts.

With Money in the Bank taking place on October 10, it should come as little surprise that the official WWE YouTube channel has released a new list video.

The video covers the greatest Money in the Bank wins in the history of the event, which dates back to 2010, with plenty of wins to choose from, but two stars weren’t included in Top 10:

The Top 10 according to WWE

10 – The Miz, 2010: Sending Randy Orton off the top of the ladder, before scaling it himself to capture the briefcase.

9 – Carmella, 2017: Taking a steel chair to the back of Becky Lynch, before climbing the ladder herself to retrieve the briefcase.

8 – CM Punk, 2008: CM Punk and Chris Jericho would go at it at the top of the ladder, with a sly Second City Saint eventually being victorious at WrestleMania 24.

7 – Naomi, 2025: While Rhea Ripley and Alexa Bliss looked like they’d be in prime position for the briefcase, it would be Naomi would would unseat them from the ladder, scaling it to victory.

6 – Brock Lesnar, 2019: The Beast Incarnate made a surprise return as an entrant in the Money in the Bank ladder match, dumping Ali from the ladder and securing the briefcase.

5 – Damian Priest, 2023: Dumping LA Knight on to the mat from the top of the ladder and capturing the briefcase, he would hold the Money in the Bank contract for 281 days, the longest a male star has done so before cashing in.

4 – IYO SKY, 2023: In a masterful display of ingenuity, handcuffed Bayley and Becky Lynch through the ladder itself, giving her the opportunity she needed to climb her then-Damage CTRL teammate to win.

3 – Big E, 2021: Seth Rollins initially looked like he’d get the briefcase, only for Big E to use a combination of speed and strength to deliver a Big Ending, leading to a big ending of his own.

2 – Seth Rollins, 2014: With an assist from Kane, who Tombstoned Dean Ambrose, Rollins was able to climb the ladder to grab the briefcase.

1 – Liv Morgan, 2022: Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan climbed their own ladders, with Morgan being undeterred by Lynch’s attempts to send her crashing to the mat, literally bouncing back before claiming the briefcase.

A WWE Hall of Famer comments on his omission

Mr. Money in the Bank in 2006, RVD commented on being omitted from the list on his One of a Kind podcast, saying:

“Not even top ten, huh? I think the problem is they can’t see me.”

Other legendary stars who didn’t make the Top 10:

The second Money in the Bank winner, RVD isn’t the only legendary star to not make the list, with the first to ever grab the briefcase being Edge, now known as one half of Cage & Cope in AEW.

Kane was the winner of the titular ladder match in 2010, with John Cena following two years later, with multiple former WWE stars also having held the briefcase, including Mr. Kennedy (2007), Jack Swagger (2010), Daniel Bryan (now Bryan Danielson) in 2011, Dolph Ziggler (2012) and Damien Sandow (2013), among many others.

No doubt, come the 2027 Money in the Bank, WWE will release a new “greatest wins” list featuring a few victories.
