Drew McIntyre has been away from WWE since the WrestleMania 42 premium live event.

“The Scottish Psychopath” seems on his way back to the company after filming three different movies.

Recent reports have revealed that McIntyre could return and switch brands from SmackDown to Monday Night Raw in the near future.

Here are some potential Drew McIntyre WWE Raw return plans.

Resume rivalry with Jacob Fatu

At WWE WrestleMania 42 Night One, Jacob Fatu defeated Drew McIntyre in an Unsanctioned Match.

This led to McIntyre taking the past six months off from the promotion.

In the meantime, Fatu has moved from SmackDown to Raw and joined forces with his family in The Bloodline.

Despite being ran down with a vehicle by Jaida Parker and 946, Fatu could come back and immediately be blindsided by a returning McIntyre, looking to take him out as revenge.

Rekindle feud with Joe Hendry

After being released from WWE in 2014, Drew McIntyre returned to the UK independent scene and stepped in the ring with several names that would go on to big things.

One of his most notable rivals during this period was his fellow Scot, Joe Hendry.

The two Scotland natives have stated that they developed a friendship, but their differing characters could lead to rekindling their rivalry.

McIntyre returning to WWE Raw could see him destroy Hendry to give him his most noteworthy feud since signing with the company.

First time meeting with Oba Femi

Oba Femi has been on a path of destruction since defeating and seemingly retiring Brock Lesnar at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

While he is busy in a feud with Bronson Reed and The Vision, Femi might need a new obstacle to overcome in the months to come.

“The Ruler” could find just that in a former WWE Champion like Drew McIntyre.

After their brief interaction at John Cena’s Final Match WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event at the end of last year, McIntyre could return to Monday Night Raw and immediately attack Femi to kickstart a significant feud moving forward.

Join forces with 946 for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames

Over the past few weeks, the 946 stable of Royce Keys, Lucien Price, Bronco Nima and Jaida Parker have been running roughshod over Monday Night Raw.

Starting a war with The Bloodline, 946 have solidified themselves as a threat to everyone.

With WWE Survivor Series: WarGames looming, 946 may need to add to their numbers to gear up for a showdown with Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa and The Usos.

Adding someone with a ton of history and animosity with The Bloodline, 946 would be wise to recruit Drew McIntyre to join their team against Reigns and his family in Houston, Texas this year.

Challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship

Speaking of The Bloodline, Drew McIntyre could go straight for the top of the faction by targeting Roman Reigns.

Over the past few years, McIntyre and Reigns have been embroiled in a feud that has spanned different countries, including their battle at WWE Clash At The Castle 2022.

That loss to Roman led to the current iteration of McIntyre’s character that has been bitter and out for vengeance against The Bloodline.

Looking to push “The OTC” off his perch, McIntyre might just return and directly challenge Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship right away.
