WWE Super ShowDown 2020 Preview: Start Time, How To Watch, Match Card, Predictions

The Viking Raiders vs. The O.C. (Pre-Show)

The one pre-show match that has been confirmed will see two Raw tag teams square off as the Viking Raiders take on Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows of the O.C.

This rivalry goes back a few months, and actually at WWE’s most recent Saudi Arabia event, Crown Jewel in October, Anderson and Gallows pinned the Viking Raiders to win the tag team World Cup gauntlet match.

Prediction: The Viking Raiders

The Viking Raiders shouldn’t be getting beaten by a team that recently lost a two-on-one handicap match on TV and have been on a poor run of form like Anderson and Gallows have.

There is a slight chance that WWE could look to get the O.C. a bit hotter ahead of AJ Styles’ potential feud with The Undertaker, but they could easily have done so without having to beat the Viking Raiders who would be much more damaged by a loss than, for example, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder.

Mansoor vs. Dolph Ziggler

WWE’s resident Saudi Arabian competitor Mansoor of NXT takes on SmackDown’s Dolph Ziggler in his hometown of Riyadh.

Ziggler is of a similar nature to Mansoor’s opponent at Crown Jewel, Cesaro. They are both guys that can go in the ring and WWE can trust to put on a good match with a relative unknown like Mansoor.

Prediction: Mansoor

This is pretty obvious really. Ziggler is a guy that we know WWE is happy to beat and Mansoor can pick up another win in his hometown.

Humberto Carrillo vs. Angel Garza

A rematch from this past Monday’s Raw will also go down on Thursday as cousins Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza will go at it once again.

Garza picked up the win on Raw via a roll-up, and the momentum in this program so far lies very much on his side.

Prediction: Angel Garza

This is a relatively tough one to call as it depends what the goal of the match is.

If this program is going to continue now that Mysterio and Andrade are also back in action, beating Carrillo twice in a row might not be too clever an idea.

That said, there is money in Garza and at this point in time he is showing far more star quality than his cousin. If WWE wants to capitalise on that, it would be smart to put him over decisively here.
