Five WWE stars who could be next to win the Women’s World Championship after Stephanie Vaquer

Stephanie Vaquer scored a huge victory in her home country, winning the WWE Women’s World Championship during the September 12 live event in Chile.

With Vaquer reclaiming the top women’s title on Raw, there will be a number of stars targeting her and her new hardware.

From Vaquer’s former rivals to potential first time champions, any one of these stars could be next in line to carry the Women’s World Title.

Here are five potential next WWE Women’s World Champions following Stephanie Vaquer.

Liv Morgan

With Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer both defeating each other for the WWE Women’s World Championship this year, we could soon see a rubber match take place.

Morgan won the first encounter between the duo, with the Royal Rumble winner defeating Vaquer to win the title at WrestleMania 42.

While the 2026 Royal Rumble winner has scored a number of victories over La Primera at house shows over the summer and on the September 7 Raw episode, Vaquer’s September 12 victory put the Women’s World Championship back around her waist.

With Morgan having the Judgment Day in her corner, we could see her lie, cheat and steal the Women’s World Title back soon.

Roxanne Perez

If Liv Morgan fails to win the Women’s World Championship back, we could see Roxanne Perez win her first world title on the WWE main roster.

Perez has been serving as Morgan’s protege in the Judgment Day faction, but has proven that she can hold her own, rather than needing her teammate.

Roxanne Perez winning the WWE Women’s World Championship would create an interesting dynamic within the Judgment Day, with both Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez previously vying for that title.

With all three female members of the faction now chasing Stephanie Vaquer’s title, Roxanne Perez could soon come out on top, and prove herself as a world championship level competitor.

Giulia

Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer had parallel NXT careers, with both competitors touted as stars upon joining the company, and quickly going on to hold the NXT Women’s Championship.

They have achieved different levels of success on the main roster; while Giulia has held the Women’s US Championship twice, she has yet to win a world championship, unlike Vaquer who is on her second run with the Women’s World Title.

Given history and career similarities, it would be a full-circle moment to see Giulia defeat Vaquer to win her first women’s world title in WWE.

While she is currently on the SmackDown roster, Giulia is one of several WWE stars who would benefit from switching brands.

Sol Ruca

Sol Ruca has had a crazy main roster rookie year, facing off against then-WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan during her Raw debut in April, and going on to win the Women’s Intercontinental Championship from Becky Lynch in May.

With Ruca qualifying for the Money in the Bank ladder match on October 10, we could soon see the rising star pick up the briefcase, which would entitle her to a championship match at a time of her choosing.

Since her NXT days, many have touted Sol Ruca as a future world champion, with many even predicting that she will main event WrestleMania in the future.

We could soon see Sol Ruca realise her dreams, to do that, she will have to defeat Stephanie Vaquer.

Becky Lynch

With Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer both returning on the August 3 Raw episode, both stars had been chasing Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan since their comebacks.

With Stephanie Vaquer losing to Morgan on the September 7 edition of Raw, it appeared that Lynch was next in line to challenge for the gold, however this wasn’t the case, with the Women’s World Championship changing hands during the September 12 house show.

Despite both wanting to see Liv Morgan dethroned, there has been some friction between Lynch and Vaquer in recent weeks.

With Stephanie Vaquer now holding the Women’s World Championship, Becky Lynch is now the biggest threat to her reign.
