Roman Reigns has a WWE World Heavyweight Championship defense on WWE Raw against Penta in Mexico City, but who could be next?
From forever rivalries that could come back around to brand new standoffs that could emerge soon, there are several intriguing candidates for who may be Roman Reigns’ next rival in WWE.
Here are four WWE stars most likely to have a rivalry with Roman Reigns in the next six months.
1. Oba Femi

The most intriguing rivalry for Roman Reigns after his match against Penta in Mexico City on WWE Raw could be Oba Femi.
With speculation swirling that a tentative plan for Reigns’ WrestleMania 43 oppoent might be Oba Femi, there could be a major shift in the company ahead.
In what could mark a true passing of the torch style moment if Reigns were to be toppled by recent fan favorite Oba Femi, the message is clear.
With Femi able to then stake claim to victories over Roman Reigns and a pair of wins over Brock Lesnar, his superstardom certainly would become undeniable.
2. Jacob Fatu

It could be that Roman Reigns’ next rival is one that is running nearby at the minute in Jacob Fatu.
While the pair have already faced off in one-on-one action at Backlash and Clash in Italy with Reigns picking up the victory both times, it doesn’t seem that all is well within the Bloodline.
With some intriguing moments as of late in dynamics between the group, it could be that a defection from Fatu and a rebellion against Reigns is near.
Certainly able to maximize the rebellion into a moment of character-making popularity for Fatu, Roman Reigns seems likely to support a member of the Bloodline to reach new heights before any other rival.
3. Bron Breakker

Another fascinating next rival for Roman Reigns could be the rising star, Bron Breakker.
In a battle that could be another that serves as a generation vs. generation moment, it could be Bron Breakker who is next gunning for Roman Reigns.
Possibly leading to a faction fight in advance of a one-on-one showdown, it could be that the pair of leaders’ respective factions anchor the upcoming Survivor Series WarGames 2026.
Eventually pitting two generational talents (in terms of impact as well as legacy in the industry), this rivalry could kick off in 2026 and continue for years to come.
4. Seth Rollins

With over a decade of history between them, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns had a seemingly definitive match at SummerSlam 2026.
With Reigns coming out on top of the battle, it could be that in the future, the pair of former friends turned foes will meet again.
With the past strife between Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and The Rock, hopefully there is a payoff in the future from the Final Boss, even if it isn’t a major match against Reigns.
Alternatively, after their two WrestleMania main events in 2023 and 2024, perhaps another go-around with Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes could happen by the end of 2026.
Whatever the future holds for Roman Reigns, he remains one of the most popular WWE stars and thereby even more difficult to knock off of the top of the mountain.
