WWE
With Roman Reigns reforming and growing the Bloodline faction, the Anoa’i/Fatu wrestling dynasty is once again a focal point of WWE TV.
Zilla Fatu is the latest star from this family to join WWE, attacking Grayson Waller and Cruz Montana on the August 11 NXT episode.
With numerous current WWE stars representing this family, it can be tricky to track how specifically Zilla Fatu would be related to The Rock, for example.
Here’s every member of the Anoa’i family in WWE, and how they’re related.
A quick refresher on the different types of cousins:
First Cousin – they share a common grandparent
Second Cousin – they share a common great grandparent
Cousin Once Removed – the cousin of their parent, or the child of their cousin (0ne generation away from being first cousins)
Cousin Twice Removed – cousin of their grandparent ,or the grandchild of their cousin (two generations away from being first cousins)
Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns won the World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk at WrestleMania 42.
First referring to himself as the Tribal Chief following his return in 2020, Roman Reigns defeated Jey Uso in an I Quit Hell in a Cell match that October to receive his family’s lei, the Ula Fala.
Reigns has put the Ula Fala and his position at the Head of the Table on the line in three Tribal Combat matches, defeating Jey Uso at SummerSlam 2023, Solo Sikoa on the January 6, 2025 Raw episode, and Jacob Fatu at Clash In Italy this past May.
The OTC is first cousins with Hall of Famers Rikishi (Solofa Fatu Jr) and Yokozuka (Agatupu Rodney Anoaʻi), as well as and two-time Intercontinental Champion Umaga (Edward Smith Fatu).
Reigns’ aunt by blood, Elevera Anoaʻi, had four sons with I’aulualo Folau Solofa Fatu, introducing the Fatus to the Anoa’i bloodline.
There are several Fatus currently wrestling for WWE, including…
Jey Uso

Jey Uso lost to Roman Reigns in Tribal Combat at WWE SummerSlam 2023.
After making a name for himself as a solo act and holding the World Heavyweight Championship in 2025, Jey Uso has since returned to Roman Reigns’ side, in the reunited version of the Bloodline.
Jey is the son of Solofa Fatu Jr, who wrestling fans know as Hall of Famer Rikishi. That former WWE star was one of four sons of Elevera Anoaʻi and I’aulualo Folau Solofa Fatu.
With Elevera being Roman Reigns’ aunt by blood, this means that Rikishi and Roman Reigns are first cousins.
This makes Roman Reigns and The Usos first cousins, once removed, with “once removed” meaning one generation apart.
Relation to Roman Reigns – First Cousin, Once Removed
Jimmy Uso

Jimmy Uso is a nine-time tag-team champion in WWE.
Jimmy Uso is also back wrestling for the Bloodline, alongside his twin brother, Jey Uso.
With Jimmy and Jey Uso being twins, he is also a first cousin, once removed, of Roman Reigns.

Relation to Jey Uso – Twin Brother
Solo Sikoa

Solo Sikoa teamed with LA Knight and Royce Keys to defeat The Usos and Jacob Fatu at SummerSlam 2026.
Originally dubbed the Tribal Heir by Roman Reigns on the December 15, 2023 edition of SmackDown, Solo Sikoa tried to take over the Bloodline in 2024 during the Tribal Chief’s absence, leading to a Tribal Combat match in January 2025, and Solo running the Bloodline offshoot group, the MFTs, until very recently.
Solo Sikoa is also a son of Rikishi, and the brother of Jey and Jimmy Uso.
Because of this, Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa are also first cousins, once removed.

Relation to Jey & Jimmy Uso – Brother
Naomi

Naomi announced that she and Jimmy Uso were expecting a child in August 2025.
Naomi has been off WWE TV since August 18, 2025, when she relinquished the Women’s World Championship and announced her pregnancy.
The former champion is related to the Anoa’i/Fatu family through marriage rather than blood, with she and Jimmy Uso tying the knot in 2014.
This means:
Relation to Roman Reigns – Cousin In Law
Relation to Jimmy Uso – Wife
Relation to Jey Uso & Solo Sikoa – Sister In Law
Jacob Fatu

Jacob Fatu will face Roman Reigns at WWE Clash In Paris with the title of Tribal Chief on the line
Jacob Fatu now wrestles for the Bloodline after being forced to acknowledge Roman Reigns following the OTC defeating him in Tribal Combat at Clash In Italy.
Jacob is the son of Samuel Fatu, who previously wrestled as The Tonga Kid, Tama, and The Samoan Savage.
Samuel is brothers with Rikishi, and first cousins with Roman Reigns, making Jacob Fatu first cousins with The Usos and Solo Sikoa, and first cousins, once removed, with Roman Reigns.

Relation to The Usos & Solo Sikoa – First Cousin
Relation to Naomi – First Cousin In Law
Zilla Fatu

Zilla Fatu made his WWE NXT debut on the August 11 episode.
The latest Bloodline family member to make his WWE debut, Zilla Fatu took out Grayson Waller and Cruz Montana during the August 11 NXT episode.
Zilla is the son of the late Edward Fatu, better known to WWE fans as Umaga.
With Umaga being the brother of Rikishi and Samuel Fatu, and the first cousin of Roman Reigns, this would make Zilla Fatu first cousins with The Usos, Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, and first cousins, once removed with the OTC.

The Rock

The Rock bestowed the Ula Fala upon Roman Roman Reigns following the last Tribal Combat match in WWE between Reigns and Solo Sikoa on the January 6, 2025 episode of Raw
Despite WWE often presenting Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Roman Reigns as close family members, the duo aren’t actually related by blood.
The Rock’s relation to the Anoa’i/Fatu family stems from the grandfather of The Rock, Fanene Anderson (Peter Maivia), and the grandfather of Roman Reigns, Amituana’i Anoaʻi being blood brothers.
Maivia and Anoa’i performed a ceremony called a ‘blood oath’ to become connected to one another, the idea being that each man’s blood was flowing through the other’s veins.
So, counting Peter Maivia and Amituana’i Anoa’i as brothers following their blood oath:
Relation to Roman Reigns – Second Cousin
Relations to The Usos, Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu – Second Cousin, Once Removed
Relation to Naomi – Cousin in Law (Second Cousin, Once Removed)
Nia Jax

Nia Jax most recently held the WWE Women’s World Championship alongside Lash Legend.
Nia Jax (Lina Fanene) is one of the most decorated wrestlers on the SmackDown women’s roster, having held the WWE Women’s Championship twice, the Women’s Tag Team Championship three times, and being crowned Queen of the Ring in 2024.
Nia’s father was Joseph Fanene, the first cousin of Fanene Anderson/Peter Maivia, The Rock’s grandfather.
While not directly related to the Bloodline by blood, she is a blood relative of The Rock:
Relation to The Rock – Second Cousin, Once Removed
Tamina

Tamina’s most recent match took place at the February 27, 2023 WWE Main Event taping, against Michin.
While Tamina hasn’t wrestled since February 2023, she is still listed under the Current Superstars section of the official WWE roster page.
Tamina’s father, WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “The Superfly” Snuka, married into the Anoa’i family in 1964, tying the knot with Sharon, the niece of Peter Maivia.
With Tamina’s family only connected to the Bloodline via the blood oath, the WWE name is technically a second cousin-in-law of The Rock.
Relation to The Rock – Cousin in Law (Second Cousin)
Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn was named the Honorary Uce in September 2022.
Sami Zayn was officially named an Honorary Uce by Roman Reigns in September 2022, ahead of being kicked out of the Bloodline in January 2023.
Families often fight and make up, and Zayn reunited with Roman Reigns and ‘The OG Bloodline’ for the WarGames match at Survivor Series 2024.
While ‘uce’ is a slang term originating from the Samoan word “uso” meaning brother, previous interactions indicated that Zayn was specifically an honorary Uso, or an honorary son of Rikishi at least.
Because of this:
Relation to Roman Reigns – Honorary First Cousins, Once Removed
Relation to The Usos & Solo Sikoa – Honorary Brother
Relation to Naomi – Honorary Brother in Law
Relation to Jacob Fatu – Honorary First Cousin
Relation to Zilla Fatu – Honorary First Cousin
Relation to The Rock – Honorary Second Cousin, Once Removed (if you count the blood oath)
And before anyone asks, Talla and Tama Tonga are brothers, and sons of Haku, none of whom are related to the Anoa’i family by blood.
