WWE Star Says NXT Women’s Roster ‘Sweats Bullets’ More Than The Men During Training

WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion Zaria has commented on the NXT women’s division, explaining why that roster is on fire right now.

Even with the likes of Sol Ruca and Fatal Influence and most recently Tatum Paxley joining the main roster, the NXT women’s roster is considered one of the most exciting divisions in the world.

Grayson Waller previously highlighted this sentiment during his July 28 worked shoot promo, stating that the women of NXT are “running laps” around the men of the brand, and that of the 10% of NXT stars ready for a call-up, “all of them are women.”

Speaking on Busted Open, Zaria shared her take on the women’s roster vs the men’s.

Believing that the women of NXT train harder, and are more emotionally open, she said:

“I think what we really do well is, we do put in the work. I think others could maybe work a little bit harder and not be given all these opportunities, but we do put in the work.

“If you took a step into the Performance Center and you saw all of the women training every single day, then you looked at the men training every single day, I guarantee right now that we’re sweating bullets more than those boys ever could. We get pushed as far as we can go, to our limits.

“Also, I think we’re not afraid to tap into our emotions. when it comes to feeling all of those emotions in a match, we allow those people to connect to us a little bit more than the guys.

“I understand, being a guy, you can’t always tap into every emotion, but for us women, we’ll tap into that instantly. I think people gravitate towards that.”

Zaria became NXT Women’s North American Champion in June, defeating Tatum Paxley for the gold to end her 94 day reign.

Paxley made her SmackDown debut last week, aligning with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss in the closing moments of the August 7 show.

A new addition to the men’s NXT roster was revealed on the August 11 episode, with Zilla Fatu attacking Grayson Waller and Cruz Montana.
