‘The five-time, five-time, five-time Champ’ also has five losses at Summerslam. Sensing a pattern here? Booker T/ King Booker has had five Summerslam matches throughout his WWE career and he did not win a single one of them!
Not only is Booker tied for third most Summerslam singles match losses, he has the worse W/L record for singles matches in Summerslam history! Coming in at a close second is Brie Bella and Marty Jannetty at 0-4.
Booker’s five losses came when:
- The Rock beat him for the WCW Championship in the main event of Summerslam ’01
- He and Goldust lost the WWE Tag Team Championships to the team of Christian and Lance Storm (’02)
- He lost to John Cena in the first match of a best of five series (’04)
- Lost to Batista via DQ (’06)
- Lost to Triple H (’07)
To put that into perspective, Booker T has fewer wins than Zack Ryder, Carlito, Stephanie McMahon… well you get the picture.
